naa waaooo, see how this bubu govt have succeeded in reducing our once strong military to weak and wailing military. what of the $1b approved for the fight against boko_harram? corruption is still destroying Nigeria, yet bubu's govt claimed to be fighting corruption.if this govt is not serious in the fight against boko_harram, by not equipping the soldiers, it's time the soldiers refuse to be sacrificial lambs in the hands of these corrupt entities in the military. |

Gracealone: I love the way he spoke . How can the army reduce a major general to this level? Burutsi should relocate to that state. That was what the president ordered when he took office in 2015 There is no improvement to warrant his stay in Abuja besides , that is his home state . If he fails to curtail this he must never speak againt anyone taking over from him in the future 1 Like |

General Adeniyi knew the implication of making this direct video to the president who is the commander-in-chief. In addition to his removal, he may subsequently be court martialled and dismissed and relieved of his commission for gross insurbodination. There is a chain of command and I don’t think he can bypass the COAS and speak directly to the president. Obviously his message was to the commander-in-chief, the man on whose desk the buck stops. Very wise move by the general, but obviously a costly one. He made himself the sacrificial lamb in trying to bring attention to the plight of his men who he saw first hand in fatality and injury. He also outlined the deficiencies in intelligence gathering which brought about false intel that led to battleground losses and humiliation. There may be fifth columnists involved in the whole theatre of war, but they can be tracked and tackled if there’s commitment from all and sundry. Good enough, Mr. President was sad at the news of the ‘70 soldiers killed’ about a week ago, and promised to intensify effort in the war against terrorists. Well, the ball is in his court, and what he does with it depends on him. General Adeniyi is a brave commander and a HERO, in my own opinion. No price is too much to pay for the lives of your boys on the ground. My Respect, Sir! JAWBONE: |
