Good development. That is the way it should be. How could NERC be thinking of increasing tarrifs in days like these?

It would have been a case of complete insensitivity and callousness.

Better!!! With the current realities on ground.

A country where citizens pay more even in darkness.

We are still struggling with 12 hours constant electricity and we want to be the African powerhouse in industrial and economic development.

Same applies to pipe borne water and other basic amenities.

I keep asking if we will ever overcome all these, even if a new government comes in.
12 hours ogini?
u dey see 4 hours self?

NERC is a joke. I wonder why they want to increase electric tariff, while they are not supplying electricity to the people.
This is very unfortunate. All these agencies will come and be scamming Nigerians. This can not happen in other countries, even our Neighboring countries are enjoying our light more than what we the citizens get from NERC, but at same time, those countries are not paying them.
It's time the citizens will stand up to defend our self, since the government is also not doing enough to protect it citizens

Hear which cry? When sane countries are on tax holiday, rent-free or reduction of many kinds.

Nigeria remains an irresponsible country
