That Twitter user didn't make any sense. Government's measure for tackling this menace is the best

If we get to the level of China, we will have a humanitarian catastrophe of unparalleled proportions in this country. That's simply because we lack the manpower and facilities to tackle a national health crises

What the government is doing is to nip the situation in the bud so it doesn't escalate. For all intent and purposes, it is a good move.

You can only talk about making money when you are alive. If we have a national crises, no country will be willing to accept patients from Nigeria as every country already has enough on their plates. Then, you will see Nigerians dying like chicken

I understand your point and it's very easy for us to be scared of what happened in China. However, what effect has the lockdown in various country it's been implemented achieved. Italy, Spain, France and do the likes.

This situation is a double edge sword, and you have to fashion out which side best suit your situation. Not just copy and paste. I don't want to believe the best approach for the Nigerian situation is thoughtless lockdown.

You could start the lockdown from local government, where cases are recorded, to area before state.

It is so disturbing to see state with Zero cases contemplating state lock down rather than border closure to human traffic to at least prevent it from entering.

As the twitter user pointed out there are other suitable measures that could have worked for the Nigerian people aside these senselse lock down.

Other countries can afford to feed their natown even if they decide not to work for say 3 months but can Nigeria feed herself for even a week?

WHO is currently trying to push a policy that is actually in agreement with what the twitter user is postulating.

Coronavirus never reach Naija! When it does, what happened in China will be child's play...

E don reach my guy
I know you're concerned about the flouting of the social distancing and lock down rules, but I can assure you Nigeria will not record a casualty figure up to 100.
God has taken care of Nigerians and the black man. He a,one knows how He structured our lungs, immune system, weather, what we eat etc. If not for that, hmmmmm

Lagos state government needs to make examples of the organizers.
There is no way these people could have come out together unless someone organized them.
.
That's how people use to come out on their own. They usually meet in a safer place like gbagada general hospital. Since the govt has declared no-movrment, they have decided to take their aerobic exercise to gbagada expressway.

Basically, when people from different estate in gbagada comes out and they meet one another.

people meet business partners, spouse, and so many opportunities....

Your international mentality may end up killing your friends and family members(if you are one of the irresponsible folk on that road).
Before you lash out, just check that all the deaths we have are international.
From the fools who lie about their travel history to the ones who hid from treatment until
it was too late.

You are just being primitive in your assertion that organizers of such gathering should be arrested. The point is that everybody comes out to exercise based on their whims and caprices in any metropolitan city like Lagos as people see it as an alternative to boredom.

Get this drilled into your head.
