Most reasons why dogs aren’t aggressive is because when they aren’t on chain and seeing so many people makes them less aggressive, You need to put it on chain often and make him see less people. If you have a vet around you or friends who have aggressive dogs he can stay with them for a while and they will train him but natural boerbole aren’t always aggressive

My 7 month Boerboel been aggressive since 4 months old I think it’s because when I got her I kept her in an empty room in my house I have no cage then so she’s not used to seeing a lot of people on the long run I kept her in a cage and she started barking when she hear voice or see stranger I’m thinking I might not be able to handle the dog when she’s over a year with all that weight so I’m trying to train her to just bark and not bite till I ask her to bite, all the dogs I got after then are all aggressive because I make them stay with the Boerboel for a while to learn before I separate them, it depends on how you raise your dog

Chain/cage your dog, when dogs are stuck in one place they become easily frustrated and this frustration leads to barking and more barking and pretty soon some aggression. Tug of war is something that helps also just and make sure you walk your dog once in a while so the dog will be exposed but avoid people petting it

I have Boerboel, cane corso, Pitbull Terrier, Rottweiler (still a puppy tho), Neapolitan mastiff and I can tell you the Boerboel is the most aggressive of all. my Pitbull is aggressive/killer but will only protect itself not you.. talking from experience tho does not make Boerboel the most aggressive dog, I would have suggested Rottweiler but I’ve seen a mumu Rottweiler before but if you plan on getting another dog go for Rottweiler

Bro this aggressiveness of a thing sometimes boils down to the parents of the dogs . My first dog was a mongrel ‘pensive’ and her mom ‘major’ was the same as her. The mom major was so aggressive that it one day pulled down a woman on a bike, ‘pensive’ my own dog killed a pregnant goat that strolled into our compound. But bro why you too de keep Rottweiler and Pit Bull? Two combination of crazy dogs. I hope you don’t have kids in your home sha? I fear who no fear pit bull o.

That’s right parent temperament matters a lot, but sometimes if you have a pup from an aggressive parents and grandparent if you socialize the dog too much from puppy they come out too friendly even with strangers most of the time except if you put in some attack training and that’s the best having a dog that’s so friendly and can also be an attack dog when the need arise, the funny thing is that they never charge against my kids since they grew up together but strangers haha sorry o, I’m even planing to get a Dogo Argentino soon I just love weird dogs

He's only looking for a territorial dog that'd guard his home that's all, you should understand already. A territorial dog must posses some necessary "aggression" to balance his drive up

Op it's so unfortunate you're experiencing this with your dog but in no time his guards instincts would kick in and the game would begin from there. I'll explain a little theory here:

When your dog isn't territorial there might be few reasons behind it ;
1. Gene/Hereditary: if your dog's parents have no guard instinct in them they could pass it to their pups (especially sires) and that results to a playful or friendly dog

2. Environment: when a dog regardless of the sex sees itself as the alpha it tends to become more territorial and would always do anything possible to keep strangers away from it's territorial. This works perfectly when their are other younger or smaller dogs looking up to it and just like an alpha lion it wouldn't want to disappoint them nor loose it's role to any

Very common with large breed dogs like the caucasian, boerboels, neos, corsos etc even rotts and gsds as well.

3. State of socialism: service dogs are trained to be very friendly with people, even kids get to pet them when spotted in the shopping mall with their physically challenged owners. That's an impact of socializing a dog too much.

When your dog is too exposed it becomes used to people and tend to trust them often which I personally don't like, you don't either. Though some breeds would still surprise people one day even if taken to the market everyday of it's life because blood never lies. A perfect example is a guy who breeds tough nerved big boned working gsds in America, he warns anyone who buys his pup to be careful as no matter how you tend to tame and pet his product it'll disappoint you by attacking someone someday, I'm following him on Instagram (search invictus_k9s)

So in a nutshell, less social life more serious life for a guard dog.

Noooooooooooo
Actually an APT imported doesn't have human aggression but the normal Nigerian bred PITBull is very extremely aggressive due to caging, chaining and not socializing them well.
The dogo is very aggressive they are lgd.
