Well, it's not a continent. It's a country. The giant of Africa

Without constant power supply a country cannot be a giant of Africa. Read very well. ELECTRICITY IS THE ENGINE DRIVE OF INDUSTRIALIZATION.

Nice one @ OP. When dey show us Dubai with no police we show them this.
Only an insane zombie will compare a well organized country like Dubai to this zoo we call Nigeria. The streets are empty in all parts of UAE, but here in Nigeria, it is only in the major cities and urban areas that you'll see empty streets. Come to the rural areas and you'll see people gathering to sell market, conduct burials and attend numerous religious occasions especially in this easter period.
Who tell you Nigerians are obeying the stay at home order? As I type this, the biggest market in my LGA is selling now. The crowd there is uncontrollable. People still go there despite all the warnings and threats from security operatives. Some area boys were even prepared to fight the security operatives if they attempt to stop people from entering the market today. You need to go to the villages on Sunday and see how many churches will hold full religious services to mark easter despite the lockdown order. We are only lucky here that our hot weather had protected us from massive spread of this deadly virus and massive deaths as witnessed in US.

Govt should use this medium of lockdown to make necessary repairs ATM.
COVID-19 is not everything now that there absolutely no hindrance to some of the works they need to do.

Did Dubai's photographer take pictures in residential areas?

The point is even without a lock down, you can count the number of vehicles on that road a day

List those works that there aren't hindrance. Are u given aware that govt is a group of people? We're in lockdown and you're talking of work. Is it an online work? a work from home? Or they should go out and work since they're govt and immune to virus
