EMEKUSBOY9: Good day, to you all.
I feel so humbled to know that people are looking forward to move to "ivory coast "
But please i am not comparing there with america or europe. Am not dragging if it has money like Nigeria or more than. What i know is that system works over there.... at least on my own visit few years ago.
Now, let me write about a particular girl called "GENEVIEVE"
Firstly, as a sign of respect to the second girl i dated which is my girl and the one i stayed with in ivory coast before coming back to Nigeria ( am sorry to write about Genevieve, i know u will surely see this) .
So lets go.......
It all started from mum praying early for me early in the morning while i was about to embark on the journey of my life.... She never knew what i was about to face because i told her nice things atleast for her mind to be at rest
Starting my journey from my place in lagos down to where am going to cross into " Republican of Benin " i was filled with thoughts concerning me and my friends about us moving to " ivory coast " ( this was 3days back before my journey)
I remember the fear and doubt in my friends eyes when i trew it open to them for us to move there.... Even one of them asking me ( Emeka wating we go chop for there) at that moment i knew i was just wasting my time and their mentality is still very young ( i hope i got this narrative properly)
I was bold inside the Siena car, as it moves down to border.... I remember how i had no choice to move, because my life was not moving forward, i was just stagnant like stagnant water in the Canaan
Suddenly, i got a call from my friends while i was inside the Siena car, and i told them i had already left heading to " ivory coast " ( they became so cold and little bit angry with me) only God knows WHY
Thankfully, i got to where i board a bus going to "ivory coast " ( The land of bum-bum)
We proceeded to where the bus need to stop for other passengers waiting to enter.....
I came down from the bus, and suddenly i saw this pretty damsel with nice eyes and sweet curves ( the biggest bum-bum i had seen at that time)
That is when i knew what to expect when i get to "ivory coast " i put on my Nigeria skills then get close to her, then we start talking... But, i got the shock of my life when she replied with French . Oboy we die here, i no go gree. I just think fast on what to do and i remember Google translator, then everything was history.
I would not say is God that led me to talk to her, and i will still say is God that led me to talk her, because that girl was a savior for me while moving down to " ivory coast "
Listen guys, the reason why i said it may be God that led me to talk her is that, i did carry any document with me while traveling. i thought our voters card is enough ( that card was not even looked, at every border i went too) And i was rescue by GENEVIEVE. ( Thank you lord)
We went to where documents are to be presented and money to be paid according to the laws of traveling through land borders... The hardest documents they dnt joke with is " YELLO VANCINE CARD" before u know it i was looking around like a novice.. But this girl pretty damsel called GENEVIVE came to my rescue, and start telling them this in French language "MON MARI and MON CHERIE" meaning MY HUSBAND & MY LOVE .
This made every french police and immigration so happy... not just because am from Nigeria but just because how she was ready to defend me ( French women, mostly "ivorian women" have too much right over their police) am not writting about hearsay, this is what i found out live over there.
The only place i got little resistance is even in Ivorian border, because is the hardest border in west Africa ( google will not say this abeg, just go and see)..... But because she is an Ivorian citizen, i just paid for "YELLOW CARD " and i was given a shot in my hand i think. she was even arguing with them why would they take anything
I entered this country and i was filled with joy like "suger factory " in my stomach. Then at every "bus stop" she asked if i had where to stay or sleep, and the lieing spirit of some Nigeria men came to me when i told her " ASEC MIMOSA".
She even ask me where did i played last in Nigeria. I told her ENYINBA FC
no be my fault ooo, i no won fall my hand say i was frustrated when i left Nigeria " THE GIANT OF AFRICA " . The good thing is that i leant not to lie to any woman..... just be yourself ! . Who woman go like she go like.
Not only that, she make sure, she came down at same "bus stop " as me ( she no know say me no even get direction self ) we got down together from the bus and she stood for hours to see who is coming to pick me dnt blame her i told her someone is coming to pick me.
I was praying for her to leave, and let me find my way
But believe me guys.... I learnt my lesson and from that day i promise my self to always be myself and be truthful.
I remember when the first night she brought me to her family house ( imagine the freedom this ladies has) that night was when Leicester qualified for first Europe qualification, and that match was my first match in "ivory coast "
Also remember the dinner at her place and how she almost finish me with food that same light.
I also remember she told me all are secret, even the one he had with a man who is building her a house, but she want to stay by me. ( thank u Genevieve for ur honesty)
My only offence why we went our separate ways was because i could not allow her to follow me when are dad asked me to leave....
"That alone can make any Ivorian woman not to trust you". ( Before you blame me, remember i have no home, and i will never carry another man daughter to suffer in a her own country, when i know she did not brought suffering on her self).
Stay bless guys... i will continue with other update as time goes on

Chai! See Nash for Riviera, Cocody. We die here finish. Better to die on top of this Ivorian woman matter than to witness another lockdown supervised by Gov. Wike.

@Stevelaw welcome to Abidjan. Check the notes you have very well. There are a lot of fake 10k and 5k denominations in circulation here. You risk a jail term if you are caught transacting with any. Do inbox me to connect you to someone at the embassy for your ID and resident permit. Don't bother going to the embassy. This will delay it. No extortion intended, please. My bank did the latter for me though. I know you might feel bad we no longer chat. Deep inside you, you know the reason. Again, nnoo, nwanne. |
