Once countries open their boarders, all these demons forming Nigerians will still use this same money they are saving from this virus drama to travel out to foreign hospitals.
A country where the president, goes missing when his needed most, the vice kept behind the scene even doubt if the president is original or photocopy. Is that one a country?

Let's stay strong.

We are holding up well.

And this is why.

It's been 6 weeks since the Italian came with COVID.

6 weeks after Italy got their first case they had suffered 10,000 deaths.

We have just 7 dead.

In 6 weeks, Feb 26 - March -April, America went from about 50 cases to almost 500,000 cases.

We are just at 305.

Let me bring it into clearer focus.

On February 28 2020, we had one case. America had 60 confirmed cases.

Today we have 305 but America has about 500,000.

Okay let's use Untited kingdom that is about a third our population.

On February 8, Uk had 16 cases . We had one.

Today Uk has 70,000. We have 305.

We have no reason to panic.

God is on our side but we must not let him down.

Here is why we must not relax.

On February 27 We had one confirmed case and UAE had just 13. Both countries held up well. By March 31 UAE had 611 and we had about 131.

Today UAE of about 10 million people now has 3,360 but We have 305.

Let's be careful.

On March 6, 2020 Spain had just about 365 confirmed cases. Today they have 158,000 with about 15,800 dead.

We are doing well. But we have to keep our eyes on the ball.

Stay safe . God bless you.

Happy Easter

You have a point. But there is something u are forgetting.

In UK if u become ill, u call for ambulance, u are taken to hospital and u get free treatment, 100 percent free. If u suspect u have Covid 19 and it's so bad, u call ambulance. they take u to hospiand u get tested and u receive free treatment.

Is that happening all over Nigeria? If my grand mother in a village feels sick, if musa in kano feels sick, can they call ambulance and are taken to hospital?

The contrast between the uk and Nigeria above shows u that there is under reporting and under testing and under hospitalization in Nigeria. This is because no ambulance and no one to answer calls and pick people and take them to hospital and get them tested so as to include in the statistics.

If my argument is right, then ur comparison of figures between uk and Nigeria so far, is not accurate.

It's not necessary my dear. You people should just continue what you're doing. Everyone that pocketed what other people would have used for their good health will pay back in billions folds. If you don't pay directly, your children will pay

He is now trying to cover up the truth he mistakenly vomited about the poor condition of Nigeria health institution , maybe the cabals have cautioned him on his comments. As the local governments and the state governments never done well on theirs, what have the federal government done differently on their own part.

Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), says it is time for Nigeria’s healthcare system to be taken seriously, especially now that nobody can seek medical care outside the country.

On Thursday, Mustapha had said his role as chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 opened his eyes to the poor state of Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure.

At a briefing on Friday, the SGF said the government at all levels have not been doing as they ought ought to.

“Primary health systems are exclusively the responsibility of the local government, the secondary health system, that’s where the state comes in. The federal government has responsibility only for the tertiary. But over the years, there has been abdication of responsibilities, you find the federal government even investing in the primary healthcare system. That’s why we have an agency,” he said.

“If you look at the total aggregate of the commitment of the government to health, it might not be 15% but we are near that.

“By the nature of our politics, even at the federal level, you find constituency projects that are primary health clinics. If you are to get the number of primary health clinics we have all over Nigeria, it’s over 10,000, but how many of them are working?

“So, it is a major issue, and that was part of my address yesterday when I spoke to the national assembly. We need to sit back and reconstruct our investments into the healthcare system. The federal government is doing a lot. Right now, there is a provision of 1% from the consolidated revenue fund which goes to the basic health care provision funds. I think it’s domiciled in the primary health care agency for distribution, the different sectors of our health system.

“We are doing good but not as good as we ought to. Investments into our healthcare infrastructure must be looked at, seriously. Right now nobody can go elsewhere to seek medical attention, so probably this is the right moment we have to be reflective and sit back and begin to address these issues. Nobody ever thought you couldn’t go anywhere to seek medical attention. Three months ago if you were told, you would not, it would not happen. But we are all confined here now.”

He added that he believes that this period would help in reflecting on how Nigeria deploys its resources going forward as a nation, with a focus on the basics that touches the lives of the people.

Nigeria is indeed a basket of idiots. This jackass just realized that healthcare system should be taken seriously because Wuhan virus is pandemic which created a situation where the privileged goons such as him could not travel out of the country for treatment. Does this jackass know that transportation system in Nigeria is a shithole like Nigeria. What about security system where law enforcement agents have constituted themselves as part of the problem. I guess this dumbass does not know electricity in Nigeria is huge problem. In fact, Nigeria is a complete mess.

It takes about 10days while under treatment to recover, this is 6weeks those untested by now would be dead by now and reports would have filtered in of people dying in similar fashion
Be grateful to GOD and always be positive, it cost nothing
People are dying in similar fashion day in day out and we are mistaken it for hunger. The truth is those countries' testing capacity is far greater than ours, if we are to have the same testing capacity, our confirmed cases would have reached thousands. Alot of carriers are roaming about spreading the virus.May God see us through.

Good observation, but if we run test across Nigeria,we will have close to 4000 cases, well the good thing is that God is helping us,60% out of the 4k cases won't even know they have the disease and survive just like that,20%will visit the hospital and get treated while 20% will just likely die.
God please save your people

In a responsible society 2 things will happen
First a thorough investigation will be done to know what happens to the annual money budgeted for the health sector, how it was spend or embezzle and head must roll for the rot in the health sector
Secondly, there will be legislations by our law maker for the effective method of implementing and thorough monitoring.
Even there should be a legislation that will prohibit all government officials and his family from seeking medical care outside Nigeria except on exceptional cases.
All senators, member house of rep, member house of assembly, chairman and councilors and their families must seek medical care in government hospitals(not even private hospitals) from their various constituencies. Except on rare cases
All governors, their deputies, commissioners and permanent secretaries and their family must seek medical care in their state. Except on rare cases. With these i know our health care centres will be up and doing.
