Pls pls let’s stop insulting each other on this medium. We don’t need to be tribalistic either as Nigerians are amongst the few that always talk about tribal issues all the time as if other countries don’t have several tribes in their own country too. We need to be united to form a formidable unit to forge ahead & talk with one voice. The Covid-19 issues is bigger than we all thought & if care is not taken we will all be in a great mess cause our govt is not proactive enough & are corrupt so we must come with a common goal & manner of approach and not fight each other or insult one another. No body is irrelevant or indispensable. May GOD see us thru. Happy Easter every one |

The Conditional transfer is not a COVID 19 relief fund. This government should stop playing politics with everything. It's just one of the NSIP programmes like Npower, School feeding, e.t.c. We should be asking why they refused to pay them since January. 1 Like 1 Share |

Femich18:Firstly, most Nigerians are poor, around 70% they say. So, for every 10 beneficiaries, there would be at least 7 poor beneficiaries. That's if the registration and enrolment process wasn't fair. Now, to the process. It was given to private consulting firms throughout the nation, registration and enrolment wasn't handled by the govt officials. The registration was done through CDAs (Community Development Associations) that were registered with the local governments in their local areas. Certain numbers among them would be picked to benefit. The workers of the consulting firm would locate the community. Tell the community to announce to the people to come on the agreed date and time. Everyone in the community is welcomed. The workers (complete strangers) would register about 30 women, 30 youth and 30 aged and disables separately. The rest would be asked to go home as they couldn't register everyone because they are using just one cardboard paper for each category. That's stage one. Stage two involved asking them questions about their social status (job, income, children, getting any support, the kind of house they live in, kind of household items they have eg, TV, radio, electricity, bed, etc). That's to know who to further eliminate because they need around 40 people in all in each community. After that, stage three. One new cardboard paper would produced and names of the 40 finalists would transferred to the list among about 100 names from the stage one. The firm's rep would go back with the copy. They would later communicate the date of enrolment. They would with the internet enabled devices to capture the data of the potential beneficiaries including pictures. Each primary beneficiary would have alternate beneficiary, their data would be captured together. That means if the primary beneficiary is indisposed, the alternate beneficiary would go and collect his or her money anytime they're called to come and collect the money. After that, they would come back with two different id cards for each primary beneficiaries. One as id card, it has details of the primary beneficiary at the front and alternate beneficiary at the back. The second id card is called "fetz payment wallet id card". It contains payment wallet number of each beneficiary throughout the nation. Without presenting it, no payment for the beneficiary. Thanks |
