Just Speechless...The matter wey dey ok ground so...e heavy for mouth.

Since the lockdown started, the positive cases have been increasing on a Daily.

Does it mean the lockdown ain't effective or what ? undecided

its effective in a way. What's it means is that the rate of infection would have been higher. We are at least able to detect fresh cases base on movement of index case if there was no lockdown those cases will have continue to move about thereby making contact tracing more difficult. My issue is with the govt non responsiveness to the hunger in the land.

Bill gates is buharis scientific advisor.
It's a shame !
In Sweden, there is no lockdown, they want the public to build up natural immunity to the virus.

Who is going to sanction them ?
Sweden and Nigeria can't be same.

Look at what's happening in China, the video that's going viral.

Despite the fact that Nigeria has one of the lowest cases in Africa, in the world its not the highest. Yet China is singling out Nigerians alone. The consul even said other countries under take 14days isolation but Nigerians are made to go double? Even Italy with the highest deaths aren't going through this.

Then imagine if there was no lock down u just gave those racists a fantastic excuse to do there rubbish.

The despite the lockdown he used is not an attack on "your" government but on the masses because they are the ones that defied the lockdown order.
And also the blame also goes to the security agencies for allowing movement n further spread.

It is an attack on a strategy which is evidently working.

Look, your newspapers are meant to not only inform but provide logical analysis.

Vanguard doesn't have to agree with anything but it is incumbent on the paper to write logically based reports.

Generally speaking, does Vanguard Newspaper actually educate the people?

Think about it, when you need information on the effect of underlying diseases as relates to Coronavirus deaths, would you be seeking this in vanguard?

The rag simply chooses to be purveyors of negative information predicated on zero analysis.

Very useless newspaper called vanguard.

What kind of headline is "Despite the lockdown"?

Italy, France, Spain, the US, Germany, Japan all have had various forms of lockdown and what has been the result?

Compare with Nigeria and tell us what you mean by despite.

Rag of a paper.

My brother, you are right. Vanguard can be gibberish atimes

Lock down without palliative is a disastrous. If they extend it to two weeks, infections will still rise. What happens when you get hungry? U hit the streets to find something to eat and a lot of people are doing that thereby enabling the spread. The govt shoud sent money to everyone. We all are vulnerable or else we are in for a ling rough ride.
