Why are you crying all over the thread?

Have you forgotten that Lagos state still distributed regular food stuffs some weeks back?

This food sharing was the one the governor said he would implement last week as part of the measures to curb the hunger in the state and he finally implemented it which prove Sanwo Olu is a man of his words.

When did Abia Government distribute foodstuffs like Lagos did some weeks back? Since you want to compare Abia to Lagos

Shut up there,I'm not making any bloody comparison. Your own people were all over the place like a pack of hyenas and laughing jackals,on a fake news that ikpeazu was sharing Eba,in their frustrated imagination.

It's not as if there's anything wrong in sharing Eba but why behave childish and stuppeed.

They are mute on this one here now.
God bless these govs providing for their people,be it Eba or whatever.

And God have mercy on and deliver hopeless
and frustrated people who make jest of the efforts of others.

Even if you want to use this to prove a senseless point, Lagos still distributed Food items some week back as palliatives during this lockdown

Get away with your frustrations.

You should've come out to preach when your people were making fooling around over an imaginary ikpeazu sharing Eba?!
Shame!!!!!! Shame on you all lolsssssss

Bystanders crying more than the bereaved... grin
Funny how the recipients do not seem to be complaining.

Anyway, LASG has (1) been distributing "raw food" and water since the lockdown started (see pic below)....
It has (2) now ADDED (cooked) food kitchens, and will (3) also be making CASH transfers to the poorest households.

cooked food? Is it school children they are feeding or what?

Dude, you really need to get out to "the world" a bit more.
>

Do I need to get out to the world to know what is right or wrong?

I may not have been out of Africa but I have traveled wide within Africa. And I know what obtains in other places.

And you thinking its food or soup kitchens that the people need at this moment, beats my imagination.

If they do that in the morning are they coming again for lunch and dinner?

I bet you. That once they did is all the palliative they've got in stock for the citizens.

I am not one of those that dont see anything good in whatever the government does but this one is a No, No! For me.
Re: Lagos Food Relief Distributes Food In Parts Of Lagos (Pictures) by Lush100(m): 8:33am On Apr 21, 2020
ok sir,

From all the information gathered, this is the situation of things.
1. Lagos is not distributing rice to every Lagos resident even those with LASRRA.
2. The elderly people whom i learnt the initial focus was, were being sent SMS but most have not being reached, i can verify that at least those of Abule-egba and ifako ijaiye and Agbado have not been reached.
3. the package even being distributed is like an eyesore to humanity.( small nylon of rice , bread and beans).
if u are looking at it politically, i have no problem but if u are doing it for humanity . no sir, it was very poor.
4. no cash transfer has been done. if it has been done or already being done then it is a secretive process and open to embezzlement.
5. we are in an era of social distancing, lockdown of people in their homes, restricted of movement and sales. there is very much going to be hunger yet we need to maintain order and distancing.
the best two options (or both can be done) which was what people are waiting for.
is a package that include 1kg of rice, 1kg of beans, 1kg of garri, 0.75 ltr of oil.-( this will cost less than =N=3,000 at wholesale price). You can add other items like 1 piece of facemask, maggi , sugar etc in the package or increase the kilogram of these items mentioned earlier. Distributing it house by house following a list using LOCAL GOVERMENT AREA.
Residents will sort themselves out on how to prepare it.(Someone said some poor cannot buy kerosene. this is false. they will use firewood, charcoal or whatever means.)

or you do cash transfer of =N=3,000 using LASSRA data.

you announce date for each LGA , escort distributors with mobile police and a temporary call centre to call a sample of resident using streets to confirm they received their package.

with this , you will get your desired result.

with this it would be easy to know how much you spent per package or person ( if doing cash transfer).
They can add miscellaneous to their accounting figures to take care of amount they want to loot.(not that i am in support but i know anyway)

With theses they would have taken care of humanity and taken care of their greed.
and everyone is happy.
Enjoy your day sir.

9jaRealist:

Not mutually-exclusive...

Lagos is distributing rice, beans, water, etc.
And in addition feeding people, will also do cash transfers.

EKO ONI BAJE!!

What kind of rubbish is this?

Cooked food in take-away as a palliative?

What happens to giving out some quantity of raw food items, no matter how small?

Na those agbaya wey queue dey vex me pas. The clowns are even trying yo be organised by practicing social distancing so they wont miss one plate of food.

Ogar, take it easy nah!

Dis is daily Food Kitchen palliative announced last week by LSG 2 commence dis week wit d target of feeding abt 250-500,000 indigent Lagosians on a daily basis!

So, it's diff frm d raw palliative stimulus we've alwys known!

Though I do understand dt in our own clime here, there's nothing d govt or anybody does dt they won't stil receive bashing in one way or d other frm some of us!

D pic below aptly depicts our clime!

What’s wrong with cooked food?
You’ve not heard of food and soup kitchens abroad before?

However, that’s not the only thing Lagos government is doing...
So, those who feel too “big” or “proud” to accept cooked food can leave it.

Just don’t weep more than the bereaved...
Those folks eagerly lining in an orderly fashion don’t seem to mind one bit.

Guy.

I am not into politics, and I dont support any party either PDP or APC but always be sincere to yourself because whatever you sow today your kids and grand kids will reap it tomorrow.

Don't be clouded by the meagre allowance you you get from politicians today through your online defense for them.

If you and I don't say the truth today our kids will see the effect tomorrow.

We as a Nation are bigger than all this nonsense.
