Who else noticed the very dark rainfall that occurred in certain parts of Rivers state today due to the consequences of illegal bunkering activities in the state.

Everything is not money , Federal and State government should treat bunkery activities as a case of urgency. We can't be suffering due to the activities of few miscreants, almost every one in PH treats malaria every two weeks.

This pictures were taken around two in the afternoon, but it looks like around six in the evening

OP you're a government agent.

Because its not illegal bunkering that causes that soothe.

It's GAS FLARING
And guess who flares gas? Federal Government of Nigeria.

So essentially the wealth of this country that fuels the Nigerian Fulani hegemony comes at the cost of SE and SS lives and prosperity.

As usual the parasites will blame anything but themselves.

Lol, have you been to Ahoada recently, what of Omoku.
Don't say what you don't know, moreover flaring gas is mostly clean combustion these days except the power pack of the combustion chamber fails. This is as a result of incomplete combustion from bunkery activities and possibly failed combustion systems from nearby gas plants, but mostly bunkery from the Ahoda asix.

Bunkery is not the only thing causing the black soot. Gas flaring also causes it and we have the govt to blame for that. The question is, since you are calling on the govt to clamp down on bunkery... Who will clamp down on the govt for flaring gas?

You think the govt has been trying to stop illegal bunkery because they care about ur environment?

Gas flaring from Illegal bunkering IS the cause of the soot in Port Harcourt and environs. Their activities are not hidden.

You just spoke like a government agent that is hiding their ineffectiveness in curbing the soot issue by deflecting.

Or are you into oil theft?

Oga have you used gas and have you used firewood or diesel to cook b4, there is a big difference.
Except the oxygen fuel ratio is not correct , gas burns clean with minimal soot , what it generates is heat, what we have these days is heavy soot, generating smog in the air because of its density.
This is mostly due to bunkery.

That is because of the bunkery going on at the Obuzo and ukwa asix.
Also the continuous burning of the landfill filled with plastic/nylon waste using diesel at ihie ukwu close to Alaoji is contributing to that one.

It is the black soot courtesy of the illegal activities going on in the state.

Young men now freely break oil pipelines and divert crude which they cook in adjourning areas releasing the toxic particles into the atmosphere.

From around the university in the new calabar river, to the Ahoada river, to the ogoni axis, Okrika, Ikwerre, all over is the smell of the end product being diesel and then the trapped particles in the atmosphere.

It is an environmental disaster and government has decided to look the other way. Men in bikes and jerry cans, tankers parked at the side of the roads where they are no depots or petrol stations to load in the "refined" diesel and "export" to other places.

This is the beginning of a security threat that could become worse than banditry in the future.
