Guy, some of us grew up then when they were in power in NPN. That's when this rot in Nigeria started: 1981 to be precise when the collapse of oil prices sent Nigeria's economy into a tailspin from which she has never recovered.

Sadly but true. Life was actually better before the coming of Democracy in 1979. Once Shagari and NPN came in, everything has been going down since then. PDP is basically an extension of NPN back then, same actors in both parties.
