This is very good.

But the Aba method of mass production is a more grassroot oriented system where they are neither looking for publicity or government patronage. Those boys down there are producing on their own power, braving every challenge and getting better at everything they set their minds to.

We don't care about any government handouts. Give us a port in Ibaka, let us import raw materials and export finished goods and in 10 years, Dubai will be buying from us.
Guy shut up, wetin concern Aba for this matter now?

Maybe, but the demand for masks has gone up, and Lagos in particular wants to make mask wearing compulsory.

Plus, importing masks is becoming more difficult, even for megapowers like the USA and the UK (USA just had a mask import order delayed...for 'some reason')

I know you will import tribalism into the thread because of your hollowness. You have nothing more to add.

Very good development...

Those of you pharmacists and pharmacies hiking the prices of face masks and sanitizers, soon you will eat the masks and drink the sanitizers!!!

Imagine Nigerian pharmacies shooting up price of Hydroxychloroquine from 4000 to over 20,000!!!... What manner of greed and wickedness is this?! Mtchewww!!!

Good initiative, but is 300 naira unit price not too high? though to justify the high cost, the founder said they spend about 40k daily on transportation for the staff, plus the cost of inhouse feeding and sanitizing the factory every weekend.

It’s not just making face mask, are the standards met?

Any face mask that is not made from fluid resistant material with a filtration effectiveness of 0.5micron cant protect against coronavirus.

Keep fooling yourselves, don't take your destinies into your hands. Ordinary gutters at Ariaria, you can't clear. Ikpeazu has refused to fix the roads to the markets at Ariaria. Keep asking for seaports. When they give you seaports, you start asking for ships too.

See the company producing masks in Ikeja, are they making noise and begging?
Even in Abia, are they using the facemasks produced in Aba? Sleep there o.

Why are you telling us about Aba on an Ikeja Lagos face masks thread? Inferiority complex?

Do your thing and use it. We’ll do ours and use!

For the records, Yorubas are industrialists as gets proven over and over again in Nigeria!

I like the idea...though eventually, it would be better IF raw materials were sourced at home, not abroad (unless government is ready to give importers of industrial raw materials forex at very favorable rates)

No need to argue with him. Can you compare the one in Aba with the one in Ikeja?

He has seen the mask and inferiority complex wants to kill him. The anger he has is the same anger a Keke owner has for a Benz owner.
