The first question that pops when I think of the subject is “why do women have a different reason for cheating?”. Since we are both essentially humans, before gender comes into play, why do we act differently? Why are both genders expected or allowed to act differently under the same circumstance? Practical example; if a couple is stopped by an unarmed thug in a dark alley, it’s okay (acceptable) for the lady to stand behind her husband for protection, hoping he has some Jason Statham tricks up his sleeves.

After all she’s a woman. But if she stands up to the thug and scares him off, we go on to describe her as acting “manly”. On the other hand, if the man stands up to the thug, that’s okay (acceptable). But, if he cowers and hides behind his wife for protection or runs away; leaving her behind, he’s described as a coward or less-of-a-man. Some characters have been tagged masculine while orders have been tagged feminine and it’s the same with various reactions or in this case, an action like cheating. Its funny how we draw these lines.

So then, why do women cheat? Some of the reasons are alike between men and women, but its intriguing that some are totally different. Let’s take a look at some of those reasons.
