Lagos state government encouraged the sustained presence of Agbero and touts. Most of this boys learned a trade but will abandon what they learned via apprenticeship system and settle for agbero and crime encouraged by the various local government offices. This are boys used during election too to perpetuate all sort of election malpractice. The government know what to do but will not remove them from the road. They see it as a way of empowering the indigenes from the system.

GEJ was Nigeria President for 5 and half years, he didn't create or rehabilitate other Ports in your region probably he saw no reason to waste his government resources on such unfruitful projects.....

Now, lagos state has accommodated you and your people. Without prejudice, we Lagosian deserves some appreciation from you..because some of your people came to Lagos in the past with nothing have become a big man...

I do not reside in Lagos anyways.
However, Lagos and the entire nation needs to show appreciation to my region because without our natural resource (which drives this nation's economy), your Lagos would have a semblance with Mogadishu.

Anyways, you've not answered my question: what do Lagos contribute to the nation's economy? Isn't it funds made from import duties that were as a result of the business transactions held by entrepreneurs from other regions of Nigeria. This funds is what it is today just because other seaports were neglected by the federal government.
