You can also get someone to order groceries online for delivery to yours. It’s not ideal but it shouldn’t be too bad.

The logistics too - you arrive a new place, so organising a place to get food , internet, and all that might not be seamless if your freedom of movement is curtailed except for finding a shop to buy whatever it has in stock like it or not or ordering in pizza or whatever.

While filling IOM data, I filled the address of the person I'm going to stay with in the UK.

While filling my CAS draft I filled same though stated that I was going to stay with this person for 1 month while I sort my accommodation. The school told me that I must go and choose 1 or 2 accommodation from thier accommodation page which I later did but still mentioned that I was going to stay with a friend for about a month before I finalize the deal. But the school nigerian rep/agent edited the whole thing before he passed it to the CAS team stating directly that the chosen school accommodation was where I was looking to stay. He deleted the part of me staying with a friend first, completely.

My concern is that this alteration makes my address data different from what was registered with IOM and what was registered with school.

Is this something to worry about?

Hi. Where did you fill the IOM data? Was it online or they gave you a form at the clinic? Why I'm asking is because whilst filling their form online, I did not see any where to input the UK address

If it is a fully sponsored scholarship then I think apart from your documents on your CAS your TB should be next.

Can I advice that you double check your application with your school and confirm that details are all okay before submitting.

There is a link to fill their form online, which I can't remember now, but the form at that link did have a space for inputting a UK address, and we used the address of the university there.

Nothing is ever free ooo. Someone pays either you or the government and you know in naija when it comes to government you are On.Your.Own .... so definitely budget for that

I would say not necessarily to the first question and No to the second.
For the second question, you should have a good case as to why you want to spend this amount of money on a UK degree and not one from your home country.

- Not really, if you can pay it in full, fine. Otherwise , you can pay the Uni deposit required and show the balance with maintenance funds when applying. Infact some unis require that you only deposit £1000 and students went ahead to get their visa.

Check NCDC site for labs that are accredited for Covid PCR Tests

I know of SYNLAB (VI and Ikeja)

Price is the same for all the labs 50 something thousand sha

Oh if you’re referring to the test conducted by the government, yes that’s “free”. However the test result needs to be recent (within the last 3 days) and it may not be easy to estimate how long the government-conducted test will take. So most people I reckon would rather go to one of the licensed private labs for quicker and less stressful testing

My problem now is that I entered my accommodation address on my application and also stating that I will be traveling by October. Only main applicants is interviewed or spoken to .... dependents only do biometrics
