This is a very interesting piece you wrote. Its very important to prepare a great application, rather than submit a poorly packaged application and expect a miracle.
But I like to draw your attention to a few things.
Religious beliefs are very subjective and personal, hence I will be careful in making a general conclusion about another person's experience.
You gave an example of how a man and his wife with a 'perfect situation' and your position on that is how can that be God?
Some people will ascribe that victory to God due to many reasons, for example:
1. It took God's grace, provision, favour and direction to acquire all those positions and wealth that gave them that 'perfect situation'.
2. There is a saying that you cannot judge a book by it's cover. The perfect situation you see may have many flaws that are unknown to you.
3. God is not only involved in the end product, if you choose to involve him in the process as well. Probably they involved him in the process and they saw how He helped them make good decisions about their Canadian visa application.
Wrong decisions lead to refusals. We need wisdom. God can give that through prayer.
You said the Americans make inventions and afterwards they say God bless America. I don't know your experience, it possible you have seen people who only involve God at the end or probably not involve Him at all. There are atheists who are inventing and building great things. But there are people, including Americans, who involve God in the process of the things they do or invent. Some will say God gave them the insight to do what they did.
My point is this: if someone choose to ascribe glory to God for a successful application. If you have doubt, ask him/her: What is your story? Why do you think God did it for you?
There are people who would not ascribe their success to God. It's a personal choice and we are all entitled to that.
Don't make a conclusion on another man's experience. Or belittle a person's stance because you did not have that experience.
We are all entitled to ascribe our success to whoever we choose. If you believe God did it for you, say it with confidence.
It will end in praise!

I apologize for not being able to respond to queries on timely manner, I have been occupied lately. To those who have been delayed, if its still in your best interest, don't ever relent but also know when to quit. To those who have gotten positive response, congratulations.
This is my personal observation thus far from some GCMS notes that may not seem generic in its entirety but with a little tweak, especially in regards to an applicant's study plan which the VOs denotes as "vague and poorly documented" or "study plan submitted is general and does not outline a clear career path/goal...." Almost all gcms I have read states same worded sentence.
I think the VOs are following a template/format in entering comments into their notes. Some applicants are getting reasons not actually related to their personal situation, especially their employment and ties.
I concluded my observation from two refused applications packaged by a registered immigration consultant and another by an immigration lawyer in Canada. The study plans was well-informed and composed that it clearly demonstrated their personal situation and financial circumstances. There was academic progression as one went for an MBA and the other a PGD in a Management course. Still the VOs comments in their gcms notes sounds exactly like every other but with a tweak to some of their personal bearings. The issue of poor and vague study plan and employment was also raised.
Based on my further observation in all the notes I have read and application profiles reviewed, some of the VO's comments meets certain of the applicant's situation but I think a little judgment that wasn't been satisfied by the applicant may make the VO edit the gcms template or follow a format to enter their concerns.
Another way I viewed the reasons for these numerous similarities may be due to the unconvincing satisfaction of not been able to ascertain that the applicant is a genuine student. Let's take for example of an applicant being sponsored by a third party and yet applied for a diploma and/or going with family. Please don't misquote me. Furthermore, an applicant may claim to be well-established but yet only using family, future inheritance and/or unjustifiable employability as future plan prior after spending some huge amount.
On the other note, I also happen to share correspondence with certain applicants who met the aforesaid but where still refused based on "Purpose of Visit" and/or "Personal Asset or Financial Status" even when their programs correlates and the required funds intact. I think there is a question mark to some of these worrisome situations which leaves us with continuous predictions and assumptions. The LUCK factor can't be compromise in this journey.
One thing I can say is that before the complete overhauling of the refused application, go through the application again and again, before adjusting or including any information/documents as see fit. In another assessment, 'most' of the applications that are yet to receive AIP or MER 'may' come as a refusal. This is just an assumption based on my own thinking/observing capacity.
For those who intend to not giveup on their immigration dreams can also draw up a Plan B to either Ireland, Poland or Sweden.
I wish everyone a happy ending.

Posting your profile would throw more light on the “purpose of visit" reason.
Plus don't you think you using your maiden name while showing you are married would cause a little bit of conflict on your intentions to the VO, you maybe submitted other documents that had you husband's surname. You used your mother's name(maiden name) while your Dad is your sponsor, probably that suggests to the VO that you aren't close to your Dad, thus, ”the financial status" reason.
You could build your husband's account balance before reapplying, use him as your main sponsor(it strengthens home ties), then add your Dad and brother as cosponsors

Any one with this reapplication experience? Pls share your experience ....
I got refused and was asked to reapply if i have answers to the reasons they stated in my letter. I have provided the reasons and reapplied. To my surprise, my UCI number changed from what it was in the first app to another. I am a bit worried as to why this happened. I thought the number was unique anyways. Does any one have answes to this? Secondly my biometric info appear blank, maybe it will take time to reappear but with this changed UCI, i am a bit worried. pls help with answers if u have.
I have not been asked to go for another biometrics. I am very sure I filled the correct UCI in the Imm forms.

Hello, do you mean visa applications or admission applications? For visa: you can apply once you have your documents ready. For admissions it might already be a bit late, depending on how long it takes to get the letter of acceptance from the institution.

Hello, please order you GCMS notes before you reapply. It would show the exact reason why you were denied as the reasons you posted below are generic. Google GCMS notes and you’ll see how to order it. It costs about 12 dollars. I wish you all the best

Hi guys, good day to you all. I'm new to this thread. please I have plans to study abroad, Canada hopefully but the lockdown issue is my biggest fear. What is the situation like over there? Also how far can 3.5m go in the whole process? plz I need reply. thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Lekiboboe: 12:36pm On Sep 23, 2020
U are welcome
3.5m ain't sufficient to study in Canada
Apart from tuition fee (in which International Student pay more than Domestic Students),
U need to show One Year Compulsory Living Expenses of $10,000 Canadian Dollar, that's equivalent to like 2.9 to 3.1 million Naira (Depending on Exchange Rate)
Do visit the website of the school you wanna apply to, Check their Tuition for International Students , Convert it to Naira, Add it up with the One Year Living Expenses ($10KCAD), that will give you an idea on what to budget for.

Do you Know one good reason Nigeria can never be a Country "YOU" will be proud of ? Because of the Sentiments that you Write about ...
Take a look at the likes you garnered... because 95% of people on this page are looking for a way around something they could have just walked into, solved it or just back off when it is glaringly impossible but NO, we believe that something supernatural can change something stupid.
I won't argue with BUHARI that called us lazy, we are actually lazy people as we want it the easy way, why is the sudden craze for CANADA? Answer--- Because we will be able to Remain THERE.
We are that kind of people that always want to hear "don't Give up", Why actually did we give up on NIGERIA when God can possibly Support us? why the Individual growth?
American that you just talked about is not even a religious country, but they call God as a "CONSCIENCE" sign , there lives is not dependent on God i can tell you, they don't even live like it. Do You know the Idea of a "GOD" was to bring SANITY amongst human?
My Parish Priest when i was boy in Ilorin moved to USA in 2001, he is "GAY" now.... Because he discovered the Truth, He said.
You are all thinking "GOD" because you are in a "DIRT", Nigeria stinks, you are in a place where nothing works, where you have to steal and lie to get through the simplest and basic forms of life , even FOOD and water!!! CANADA gave out over $2000 for Covid alone , how much did Nigeria give to YOU? That is why you will die to go there, you will use JUJU sef to go there, pray to go there? A BLACKMAN?
When Last did a Japanese pray to get a USA visa, when LAST did someone from SINGAPORE pray to go to CANADA? This are economies that are running so well that AMERICANS and CANDIANS want to live there, why pray about it?
Use ur GOOGLE and INPUT "LUXEMBOURG", No country will pay you the minimum wage that country will pay in the whole world , do you know this ? NO, because everybody wants to go to CANADA and when they get the visa it is a miracle .
The only God that exist is You and your Conscience, ... Luck is Opportunity meeting preparations, anyone can have it, let us pray for Nigeria to get better not pray to leave Nigeria , it is the worst thing that will happen to us as a people.
I know a lot of guys who left here with prayers , They have not attended a Christian Gathering in 3 Years, They have not even remembered to pray, The best they can do is, do an update with "GOD-IS-GOOD", everyone wants to use that God slogan to get out and forget it when they get in, a typical African Man.
Until Nigeria is reshaped and revamped, You will continue to see everything as something you should pray about, Prayer is for a BLACK man, and A black Man is actually praying against themselves.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by CanadaPR: 1:11pm On Sep 23, 2020
I have a lot to say and share but I'll save it for another day.
Prayer does wonders and I'm a living proof.
I agree people should package their application very well but saying prayer doesn't give visas is something I'll just shake my head about.

There are over 250 Million Nigerians....
Over 5 Million of Us have applied to go to Canada...
You are only one of them, In physics.... when something works in 10 Places out of 100 Places , It is never considered a Method, It is negligible.
I will stand with a Good Application over ANY PRAYERS by an Standard.
There are powers, the bible says,... Manipulations of the Terrestrial powers to divert happenings, it is also a situation of life, but everyone radiates differently, start off so well first and let the other things beyond you control take care of themselves.
There are just so many things you are not in control of, not even Your Visa Application.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by alexflint20: 2:22pm On Sep 23, 2020
Please am new to this thread, i have a question.
I have been denied canada student visa twice last year, i want to re-apply for visa for school starting Jan 4th, how long does it take for processing times now and what are the chances, considering using my Mum as a sponsor and wrote IELTS as something different from the previous applications.
Also, are we being judged differently for applications submitted by agents or the ones done yourself.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Nobody: 2:56pm On Sep 23, 2020
alexflint20:lol this your question funny
1) no one here knows your chances
2) no one knows how long it will take
3) no one can answer you till you drop your profile and why you was denied
My best advice is order your gcms notes before you apply for a third time
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by alexflint20: 3:04pm On Sep 23, 2020
Thanks so much.
My GMCS note is basically vague description about reason for travel and poor documentation or so.
My main question is, IRCC website is showing processing time of about 27weeks now, which is more than 3 months remaining for my school to start.
Normally it takes approx 3 months for processing visas from nigeria, please correct me if am wrong
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by vibrant99(m): 3:38pm On Sep 23, 2020
You had to give urself the CanadaPr name to Confess what you want out of the whole thing, abi? Motivational speakers and You.
Anyway, no need filling spaces with unnecessary mentions and dragging... I have heard you, Keep praying.
What it does to most people here is they keep throwing their monies away, why is everything about prayer associated with Money?
Your Last Bolded wasn't your concern, stop holding on a straw, i replied someone else in his own context, let us be guided.
Keep praying and advising the ones that will do likewise , I am still gonna stick around .
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Akannitommy: 3:39pm On Sep 23, 2020
@alexflint20, you won't get anyone to give you advice on what you are asking because you have already made up your mind to apply for the third time without full diagnosis of your situation through disclosure of your profile, list of documents submitted and extracts from your GCMS notes. There are people here who submitted application since February and March 2020 and their applications are just being finalized or still in progress. Hope that answers your question. Best of luck in your quest.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Chocs(f): 4:03pm On Sep 23, 2020
Your GCMS note is very important. Share a screen shot of the VOs final note and your profile (age, course studied previously, course you’re going for now, age, any educational or work gap, what you do now etc) and also the documents you submitted. Without that, no one can give any reasonable advice. Also it’s important to know your exact problem so you can fix it before reapplying to avoid another rejection. The processing time shows 27 weeks but we are in a different time (covid) so nothing is black and white. People are still putting in their visa application for January regardless of the processing time. All the best
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by olajigaolamide: 4:27pm On Sep 23, 2020
Chocs:The Online schooling is also another issue again. You may be asked to do that once visa is ready
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Oghogho1313: 4:28pm On Sep 23, 2020
I dare say that if you are yet to receive an AIP and you applied for a study permit in the last 4 months that it might have been denied. IRCC for some reason have not been communicating denials directly to people. Applied in May for a study permit and received gcms notes today. I do not agree with 90% of the VOs conclusion based on my application but what do I know.

PGC = College certificate
In Ontario, for most schools, usually 2 semesters (8 months). However, It also depends on school and program. Some PGC programs in Ontario are 3 semesters - 12 months duration (includes compulsory coop).
I think most 1 year programs in Quebec takes full 3 semesters (12 months).
Your certificate will state Ontario College Graduate certificate or Ontario College certificate depending on the school.
If you are going for PGC, on IMM form, you choose College certificate
PGD = College diploma. In ontario, it is Usually 2 years duration. You will end up with a certificate that says Ontario College Diploma or Ontario College Graduate diploma depending on the school.
If you are going for PGD, on IMM form, select College diploma
Applied degree is below PGC and PGD. Usually longer in duration depending on the school.
I think Applied degree is same level as Bachelors.
