do you or they know that this is technically a war situation? This is bio warfare and life first not going out to get food. Nonsense

People who don't know what real life is all about will just chop belleful and come online to type stories... What do you even know about warfare and/or life??!

Even during the worst of wars, there is still a limit people can hide in hunger... When the hunger becomes unbearable, people will go out amidst the risk and threat of sudden violent death to source for food.

No need being insensitive!!!

You're not well informed concerning the plight of the common man at this period.

Some people will rather die of CORO than starvation.

This is ignorance at its peak, why burn tires on tar? This is just absolute nonsense. The government should not allow this, they should get there fast and clamp down hard on these people. Although they have a case because the government did not put any strategy on ground to reach the grassroots and make the hardship caused by the lock down a little bit easier.

On the other hand, Nigeria has done a good job so far in fighting this virus compared to some western countries but they have failed in the management of the imposed lock down. My people please don't be stupid , please reject any rushed opening of the lock down because this epidemic has a life span of 70 days before it dies of, the peak will be from 40 days and then the numbers will go down. Any rushed opening of the lock down now that we are approaching it's peak period will be catastrophic .

Shut up. All these pseudo-intellectuals. The three afflictions of hunger, disease and conflict are equal in potency. None is superior.
Conflict is closely tied to hunger, which is why the crime rate may lead to total anarchy in the coming days if the lockdown persists. You can write this now because you have some little funds to go on for a little while, well for many others, they don't!
A smart solution is to open up the economy while enforcing needed restrictions like continuing the ban on large gatherings like parties, churches, mosques, etc. Step up testings, enforce use of facemasks and hand gloves, disinfect public places, etc.
who's a pseudo intellectual? You definitely don't know what you saying. Ghana opened up like you suggesting and did you see their numbers? This is a war situation as the difference here is we battling a disease. You guys don't understand what you all writing here. The NMA has advised for a an extension. You don't have a say in this matter. Are you a doctor or a nurse? If shit spreads can you treat anyone? Only doctors and nurses have a say here cos they'll be in the Frontline when shit hits and they've advised for an extension. So go sit down your opinion is useless

Customs keeps smuggled rice, there is lockdown.... Then customs brings out same contraband rice to be distributed to states.

2 states so far has rejected the expired rice.

In as much as a lot of Nigerians are really and massively suffering from this lockdown, this shouldn't be the best approach to things, don't let us put our lives in danger all in a bid to go out and find food for ourselves.

Some of our security personnel don't understand the word stop, what they only understand is go, before they would start shooting and name you guys 1million boys (1MB).

Please stay safe at home, or do a peaceful protect and cover your nose to your local government chairman house or state house instead of burning tyres in the road.

We need to really study the act of protect before we delve in if we really want to achieve our aim in this country.

When Real-Estate Developers build in these areas and ask you to come and buy 3 bedroom for N30million to N45million - note that proximity to developing neighborhood does not mean that they all have the same pockets as you - my friend traveled for just 2 weeks and his Ibeju-Lekki flat was raided and looted by his neighboring community
