In Daniel 7, we see that Daniel has a dream. In his dream, he sees four beasts: a lion with eagle’s wings, a bear, a leopard with four heads and the wings of a fowl, and a fourth beast more ferocious than the rest.

There is much of interest in all these four creatures, but Daniel is especially interested in the 4th most terrible beast. It is of interest to Daniel because of its destructive power, conspicuous horn and its fight against God's people.

"These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.. – Daniel 7:17 KJV

1) The Lion with Eagle’s Wings:- The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. - Daniel 7:4 KJV

Everyone knows that the eagle is the symbol of the United States, and many people will also recognize the lion as the symbol of the United
Kingdom. In Other words, the wings of the eagle (America) were broken off the Lion (the UK) when America became a country on July 4th, 1776.
Daniel 7:4 was a prophecy of the Declaration of Independence – the birth of America.

2) The Bear:- And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. Daniel 7:5 KJV
If you pay any attention at all to the news, it is very easy to identify the Bear as Russia. You hear the talk regularly about the Russian Bear 2. Russia is well known for its ability to devour much flesh as leaders like Lenin and Stalin killed several million people.

3) The Leopard and the Fowl:- After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. Daniel 7:6 KJV

Most people probably do not know that the symbol of France is a Rooster, which is a fowl, and the unofficial symbol of Germany is the leopard.
German Leopard tanks have been used predominantly in European armies since their introduction in the 1960s.
We can understand the four heads of this leopard by remembering that Germany’s Third Reich historically attempted to gain world dominion during World War II, and that the Fourth Reich is emerging in our time. France and Germany are also founding members of the European Union.

4) The fourth Beast:- After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. Daniel 7:7 KJV

In Revelation 13:1-2, the Apostle John depicts Daniel’s four beasts again, now combined into one: a beast that is part leopard, part bear, and part lion, with ten horns.
This beast is a world-dominating kingdom that will include Germany, Russia, and England. Since Daniel sees that the leopard is given dominion, we may also surmise that Germany will be the dominant nation in this world government. The new horn that emerges and dominates three others tells us this government will be controlled by the Antichrist.

It is important to note that the wings of the eagle are missing from this united beast. Instead, we see the wings of the eagle in Revelation 12:14 protecting the woman, which many believe to be Israel.
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Rev 12:14 KJV

So what will be the role of the US before the Second Coming? An uncooperative force? A destroyed world power? An Israeli ally? This is still unclear.

As we can see, Daniel’s dream shows us the nations that would be on earth just before the return of Jesus to this earth to setup His kingdom.

I like your imagination....but the first three beast has already been explained - the angel told Daniel that the first dream he had in chap 2 of the huge image of head of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of bronze and legs of iron are the same with the dream of the beasts in Daniel chap 7.....the chapter 7 was a further explanation of chapter 2.

I don’t know why u are still linking the first 3 beasts to the nations of this time...if there’s any correlation with the countries of this time, it’s the last dreadful beast that represents the nations of this time arcoding to the time line of 1260days from 538AD

3. Well, technically Israel, the people, was protected by the two wings but not in the way that you think at all.

The two wings are the nations of Israel and the nation of Judah into which the people of Israel were split as a result of the sins of Solomon. God cursed and scattered the country of Israel to the ends of the world about 2500 - 2600 years ago — the one wing. After what seemed about 500 years later, God then cursed and scattered the people of Judah— the second wing—, with the promise of gathering and returning them all— Israel and Judah together — back to Himself when He restores His Holy city of Jerusalem— the time of the resurrection.
