Maintaining a Healthy and Happy Relationship is everyone's priority. No one would like to be tired down with a toxic partner.
Happiness is one of the most important things everyone cherishes. We all want to be in a Relationship with a partner who makes us happy at all time.
What does a Happy & Healthy Relationship look like?

Every Healthy and Happy Relationship involves Respect, trust, honesty, open communication between the two lovers (partner), forgiving each other's weaknesses and having fun together.

1. Honest Communication:

Every Healthy and Happy Relationship involves an honest communication from both partners.
An honest communication entails telling your partner the truth no matter how hard the situation may be. It will help you to build trust in your Relationship.

2. Trust:

Another characteristics of a Happy and strong Relationship is trust. Every Relationship that lacks trust will never last long.

3. Forgiveness:

What makes a Relationship healthy is the ability of the both partners to forgive each other when something goes wrong. When you're in a Healthy and happy Relationship, you will always find a way to pardon your partner when he/she offends you.

4. Mutual Love:
Every couple in a Happy Relationship experiences mutual love from each other. Their love is often reciprocated and never unrequited love.

5. Respect:

Every couple in a healthy and happy relationship respects each other. They see themselves as equal partner and therefore deserve each other's respect and loyalty.

6. Having fun together:

Happiness never departs from a healthy and strong Relationship. The couples do things together, socialize together and have fun together.

Maintaining a happy Relationship isn't easy at all. It requires a lot of effort, commitment and compromise in other to achieve that.
The following tips will help you to build a happy and loving Relationship:

1. Be willing to Compromise:
No Relationship is a bed of roses. Crisis and misunderstanding must arise, but be willing to compromise.
Maintaining a happy Relationship requires you to give up certain things or pleasures to keep the Relationship moving. In other words, no Relationship can be healthy, loving and happy without the couples learning to give up on certain things or certain pleasures.

2. Have fun together:
Every couple in a happy Relationship does things together.
When it is time to socialize they do it together. It will not only help you to be intimate with your partner but it will also make your Relationship enjoyable.
You may decide to crack some jokes for your partner. Tease him/her and tell them some interesting stories to make them happy.

3. Be willing to forgive each other:

Forgiveness is very important in every Relationship. To remain happy in a Relationship, you must learn to forgive your partner's flaws. Bear in mind that no one is perfect not even you yourself.
Unforgiveness can never make you happy in a Relationship. Therefore, learn to let go of the past. Always forgive your partner no matter how difficult it may be to you.

4. Be Committed and Loyal to your Partner:
Commitment is an important factor in every sound and happy Relationship.
Don't leave the relationship to your partner. Take part and contribute immensely to its progress. Don't let the relationship be one-sided or your love unrequited. Show some commitment and respect to your partner.

5. Good Communication is the key:

Maintaining a healthy and happy Relationship requires good communication skills.
An open and honest communication in a relationship can be hard especially when you're trying to discuss a difficult issue.
When misunderstanding arises, don't go to the bed angry. Allow yourself to heal first and then go to your partner. Discuss the matter and settle the disputes.

Love each other. Express your love by giving each other gifts. Make your partner feel special and loved. Also, you may even decide to send them some sweet text messages.

8. Be satisfied with your partner:
You can never have a happy relationship if you are not satisfied with your partner. You will only be moving from one relationship to another looking for the perfect man or woman. In other words, to build a happy and strong Relationship, you must first of all be satisfied with your partner.

9. Be determined to be happy:

Having a loving and happy relationship starts from you. You are the driver of your soul. In other words, you have the ability to choose to remain happy in your Relationship or not. All lies within your power.
Be determined to live a happy life no matter the circumstances surrounding you.

10. Understand your Partner:


I can never forget to say something about understanding. Understanding matters a lot in every relationship.
In other for you to be happy in a Relationship, you must try and understand the type of person your partner is. Who does he/she react when they are angry? What is their personality? Etc.
So, try and study your partner. Know their strength and weaknesses and be ready to face each one accordingly.
