The body of Nigerian Nurse, Olubunmi Olugbileeti who died of COVID-19 in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday May 3, 2020 is being removed from her home. 

Friends and family of the deceased were heard crying and singing funeral songs.

 Until her death, the deceased was active in her community. She was aged 47.

This was a very harrowing video clip to watch. Those carrying the Nigerian lady on her final trip, must have been emotionally moved to hear mourners break into song.

Even though the words to those church hymns were in a language they could not understand, surely those coroner's office staff must have driven away carrying that deceased Nigerian nurse, with silent tears of profound human sorrow welling up in their eyes.

For some reason this video clip reminds me of the scene recorded recently in Madrid, Spain, when hundreds of panicked people gathered in a city square, to kneel down, prostrate on the ground, and plead, desperately, for God to spare their lives. Despite observing no formal religious practice myself, I was deeply moved by that scene in Spain, and by this one in Brooklyn, New York, almost to the point of tears.
