They should stop threatening and intimidating us with the lockdown when they themselves ( FG) are not useful to the masses currently.

You have said it all.

What happens when people refuse to be locked down again? They don't even know how to talk about sensitive issues. How many of them have moral justification to tell people to stay in their homes without food. Another lock down will only bring revolt and unrest of unimaginable proportion

Instead of lock down we should just try Charles Darwin's natural selection. Survival of the fittest (literal meaning). If after a period those who are immune to it would live and give birth to stronger offspring. and those who are not lucky shocked shocked shocked

While it might sound good to the young people but please think about your aged parents, aunt and uncles that might not have strong immunity to fight the virus.

It is either our NCDC is too lazy or have taken bride they cannot refund.

Even if we cannot get enough of our data to make sensible decisions, why not look at the countries with data instead of the WHO model.

New York state has the highest infections and deaths worldwide. Does it not make common sense to see what is going on there?

Lockdown is overwhelmingly a bad decision according to New York state governor, Cuomo. He was shocked like many except the so called "conspiracy theorists" who happen to be right in this case.

Over 60% of new infections are from those on lockdown/working from home .... https://www.yooglo.com/index.php/topic,2907.0.html

What is wrong with Africa especially Nigeria?

Sooner or later, the world will adjust to living with this virus. Place severe modalities. Lockdown isn't a strategy, and it's not sustainable.

Do you even think our Government can sustain it? They cant .

The last lockdown was like hellfire on earth, no light to even preserve the little fresh goods you could stock up on. Markets took advantage of the situation and hiked the prices of goods. So no light, no palliatives to ease the pain and no source of income.

Monies were donated to the corrupt government from the EU/IMF/WHO/UN and generous Nigerians. The Government looted all the funds, went on a loan shopping spree, looted that as well. They did not equip the dead hospitals in Nigeria, they did not build isolation centers or emergency hospitals and they did not provide palliatives for their citizens.

If they force another lockdown, they should expect Anarchy on the streets, the hungry man does not care about death.

This is indeed a challenging time to all and sundry, I really feel the pains of everybody, the individuals whose means of livelihood has been threatened by these restrictions, and the government who is always going to experience a lot of revenue shortfalls as a result of these measures, even though we know they have not been really transparent in the management of our resources, but we all good citizens should know that all these restrictions arose in the first instance due to the pandemic, before now we all were walking freely and engaging in our various activities without restrictions, so let's all be responsible and considerate...as for the PTF I must say you guys have been fantastic and wonderful, I pray God to bless you all, I also hope to one day have the opportunity to work for my country like you do now... let's all stay strong and safe.

The Swedish State has one of the best Health care systems in the world, they can cope. Nigerian's health care system is dead, it has been underfunded for decades.

It's unfortunate that our constitutional leaders are stupid and clueless. They only believe in stealing money that's why they lack wisdom.

This is what they can't figure out; we are not Europe, America or Asia therefore you can't fully copy them in handling matters like this. We are more religious and cultural therefore our constitutional leaders should be looking at using the leaders in these sectors to approach and deal with this issue on their behalf. Use traditional rulers to enlighten, endorse and enforce social distancing in their communities. Use spiritual leaders to enlighten and endorse social distancing and other preventive measures, then also use government to do same. This way will be more effective, don't neglect two and only use one. They need to do all to show how serious they are and things will be much better.

On the lockdown, relaxing it, is the best option, Oyo state for example has never been on total lockdown yet it has not become the epicenter of covid-19 in naija. tongue
