The lockdown measures issued to Anambra citizens seems to be adhered to so far. I actually resumed work at building materials international market,Ogidi on Wednesday and even barrow pushers and offloaders of goods were on face masks throught out. Even pure water sellers and hawkers were not left out.

The market chairman issued a strict punishment for offenders and so far they are compling. At arrival at the market in the morning,You get screened with infared scanners before entrance. If you're in a vehicle, you are not left out also.

Hopefully,this phase would pass.
everyone's faces has been gloomy ever since...COVID-19 has indeed changed our world.

That's why I love my Anambra. Our people are very law abiding. As long as we obey Government directives, the virus will remain at bay. People can't be kept at home dying of hunger when there are simple protocols for them to observe outside and they can be safe. The people trust their governor. Obiano is the governor who showed braveness and eased the lockdown drastically which many other governors are now copying. Willie Obiano is the best governor in the history of Anambra state.

Nice one!

They should compliment this with strategically placed handwashing facilities around all public places! It doesn't have to be anything fancy....just a bucket or drum with a tap attached to it, and soap! People should be encouraged to wash their hands regularly, and the management in charge of the area concerned (could be a motor park, market or church or school) would have the responsibilty of ensuring the containers are topped up at all times.
