Your presentation is rushed and missed cogent points but it is understandable and hit on very fundamental issue we Yorubas must contend with in the Nigerian politicalsphere. Without doubt Yoruba is the ALPHA DOG of Nigeria in any context of social value and advancement metrics. The burden we carry is that of civilized leadership and tolerance. Ibo cannot measure against us in any area of civilization, past, current or future. Their struggle, as you call it, is a fair attempt to rise up to our level and have for themselves what they see in us. This is why Lagos remains their quagmire because they wish to possess it. It is also why they covet our cities in hinterland - Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta, Ekiti, Oshogbo, Ilorin, Lokoja. Their aspiration is not just focused on Lagos, they are not happy that every city of Yoruba is a land of prosperous opportunity and wealth. They covet it. Remember, it is fair that they should wish to have what we have. It is no more than an ambition. We should treat their aspiration with understanding, and Im glad you used the position of father and son to illustrate.
