A heart-breaking photograph of nursery school children forced to play in 'isolation sections' in French schools has caused shock and outrage. The photo, taken in a school in Tourcoing on the border with Belgium, shows boys and girls forced to stay away from each other inside areas marked out with chalk. They are playing. This will be so stressful for the teachers. Social distancing at this stage where kids of this age are meant to mingle within themselves. I dont think it is a good idea. Social education is like the best education a child can get at that age. And playing with mates is a very essential part of social education If the French are not yet ready to education the children in all ramifications for now including social education, then they should suspend nursery education until they are ready.
