Tertiary education (institutions) are primarily to equip you with relevant knowledge to be useful, excel and succeed in life, not necessarily to just get a job somewhere.
A graduate can become a farmer, trader, designer, tailor, painter, shoemaker, the list are endless and he/she will excel in it.
Let's purge ourselves from these job entitlement mindset. Ordinarily, success is ability to discover needs (in your world) and create a solution to it.
The rate of thoughts of landing a job after school in our minds are so big that if replaced with thoughts of creating businesses that will employ people, in few years we will have good numbers of job opportunities to absorb our graduates that wish to work.
Approving establishment of additional higher institutions in the country is laudable move by Mr. President.

In the last 2 years, Buhari has approved over 4/5 institutions ....the reps there are been mad. The spokesperson for HoR is from Abia, he is forming.....No P.

The biggest problem of Abia State are not really the Govs....but the people we send to Abuja.

1. COE should be a five years program and upon graduation a student is awarded a degree or its equivalent.
2. Faculty of education in the universities should stop giving admission in education for undergraduates but only at masters and PhD levels.
