I am not an Atiku fan, but he is making sense, Buhari was saying he will sell off some Presidential jets when he becomes president till today he is yet to sell one. Sell the Damn jets and fund the budget, but oga is bent on borrow borrow, Those Jets plus Abacha loot are enough to fund the budget let's not even mention revenues coming from IGR, Customs etc
Buhari said a lot of things he didn't do, well "easy is to say and difficult is to do"

Whatever his intentions are, he is absolutely right this time. One of the reasons I concluded Buhari's government unserious about change was their refusal to cut cost of governance.

There is obviously too much waste in that area. How many presidential jets do they have for God's sake? The insane amount budgeted to renovate the National Assembly, which country should not be using one story building? Is it not for the lawmakers to meet and do whatever nonsense they are known for? They buy luxurious cars, fix crazy amount to keep the presidential household let alone the ridiculous amount they all earn all at the expense of the masses. Look at the stupid minimum wage and they will still owe and not pay o, many pending projects that will improve our basic social amenities that cannot be done for lack of funds, they continue to borrow and put us in debts so much that every continent from Europe to the Americas and Asia have us by the balls. Is this a serious government?

The people aside, the government is a serious thorn in the flesh. If they do not have the will to change, I am afraid there isn't much of any hope here. cry

Atiku, ku ise o. Olote! grin

Nope. I am a citizen of Nigeria and that is enough and the main political party that counts.

Whether PDP or APC, if the interest of the country is jettisoned for personal interest, still the same pot of soup.

Sir,stop the excuse...he is not a better leader.Under his watch he supervised the privatization of Nigerian's properties, the evidences were there. As a good and visionary leader,he could av slashed his workers salary not to lay them off at this critical moment, can't u see wat Tinubu has done,av u ever heard he sacked any of his workers in all his companies. He is simple a failure bro.

Chief, I never said he was a better leader. I don’t know why you think not sacking workers is the trait of a good leader. A leader has to make hard choices for his business. Why would I employ 1000 people In which half of them are not doing much and be paying them 50k when I can sack half of them and be paying the other half 100k and they would be more motivated to work. This is just an example of how business is, showing you that it is never black and white.

See, I have a lot of points in my head to contend your argument, but it’s just too long.

Tinubu’s business is different From atiku’s. Tinubu does not have a workforce of over 5,000 people.

Sack workers like Mikano 600 (lagos), Gotel TV 100 (Adamawa) , American British University 400 (Adamawa)

Useless Hypocrite, why not use his own advise rather than sacking people in his own firm, he could had sold some of his choice properties in UAE like Sahara Mall Sharjah, and numerious tower apartment buildings in Palm Jumeirah Dubai

If this monafiq father of Ipobian didnt conive with Elrufai as BPE boss to sell , Delta Steel plant like scrap Nigeria would be making money outside oil from steel based products just has the koreans, If he never sold NITEL off Nigeria would had being making money like British do from Btitish Telecoms, and UAE does with Etisalat worldwide

Atiku has valid points. This is how u should play opposition. Don't just criticize, profer solutions. I personally endorse that the 27billion budgeted for renovating the national Assembly complex be scrapped
he should use his solution for himself after all he is broke. His company recently laid off staffs. Why layoff staffs why not sell the company? His solutions are need more in his companies going bankrupt.

Atiku is a thief and not fit to be an office clerk, but the advice to cut recurrence expenditure and waste is the right thing to do. Buhari manifesto included cutting waste and large government.

World leaders are making sacrifices. We heard of a country yesterday here in Africa that ban the purchase of vehicles by all their officials for five years. What are our leaders sacrificing? The other day in mid-march, our HoR said they are going to forfeit their march salary but to our greatest surprise, they received their full march salary. Till date nobody talks about that pledge they made. This country really get as e be.

He made some reasonable points.. We should not care about his selfish reasons and even his last idea was implemented by the government.

Re: Atiku: Sell Presidential Jets, Cancel N27bn National Assembly Renovation Fund by NGpatriot: 11:47am On May 15, 2020
Can this man just keep quiet?

This is just playing to the gallery because selling presidential jets is inconsequential, our main problem is over-bloated government and the cost of running the FG and it's apparatus and the Nation's valueless and money gobbling legislative branch.

We need to get rid of many agencies, parastatals, boards, and commissions, whole ministries, a near-total ban on needless government travels, eliminate or totally reduce the size of the Senate and the House.

Our budgets should be at least 50%-Recurrent and 50% Capital, not 75% Recurrent and 25% Capital.

27 billion can build 2,700 housing units of 10 million each. Thus, it can build a whole community. This is what is budgeted for renovation. All the lawmakers should be arrested for broad day robbery. Trinity Tower of The Redeem Christian Church is built with just over 2 billion naira and it's 14 storey edifice.

How did he ground the power sector? You talk as if you had constant power before he became vice president. Just so you know the vice president has no power to appropriate funds. Please educate yourself before spewing factless comments on social media.

Sorry use your advice and help save your ailing companies that keep sacking workers. PMB has not sack a single Federal Worker despite the challenges. This foolish advice should have been reserved for yourself pre elections when you squandered your resources in the hope that you can sell NNPC and reinvigorate your purse.

Is your PMB responsible for paying FG workers' salary, that you are comparing him with Atiku who runs his own private businesses?

Do Atiku's private companies receive any allocation or subvention from crude oil sales?
