MONDAY 25 MAY (Lockdown Day 59)
- 1032 cases, 52 deaths, 12922 tests in last 24 hours

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in SA is 23,615. This is an increase of 1032 cases.

There have been 52 new Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total national deaths to 481.

The total number of recoveries to date is 11,917.

A total of 596,777 tests have been conducted with 12,922 done in the last 24 hour cycle.

NOTES

1. On Sunday evening President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the whole country will move from Alert Level 4 to Alert Level 3 of the national lockdown on 01 June 2020.

2. Despite this the President emphasized that the threat Covid-19 posed would be greater than at anytime to date, and warned infections would increase drastically in the coming weeks. But urged citizens to be cautious and learn to live with the virus.

3. During Level 3 alcohol will now be sold, but at certain times and should only be consumed at home. Bars and restaurants remain closed.

4. Cigarette sales remain banned.

5. Public exercise now permitted at all times of the days.

People wey carry xoro plenty, but e no dey kill anyhow as the media dey wan to make person believe.
We don see pishure of isolation center from all the world, wer naija own dey.
Other sickness dey kill more than this coro 419, but the matter no go anywhere because those ones no dey touch politicians dem.

There is no malaria in SA ,but I get what you are trying to say ; SA nolonger has TB, homicide ,hiv-related deaths and all ,everyone who dies during this lockdown;......

Government is loosing money...money no dey to loot you dey here dey talk about cashing out,
You can't steal what you don't have
If it is to embezzle money, they don't need to fake a virus

With the lockdown easing again next week the SA government is looking to double daily testing capacity.
