A sensationalist blog has tried to smear the name of Nigeria's Vice President by claiming he attended a birthday party held in honor of ovation magazine publisher Chief Dele Momodu.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who has been practising social distancing since the outbreak of #Covid19 in Nigeria simply wished his friend whom he fondly calls Bob Dee a hearty celebration via a short skit that's still present on the Instagram wall of his senior special adviser media.

Clearly the handiwork of persons without any good intent, the fictitious and hastily created @delemomoduovation account on Instagram quoted an also irreputible website www.thebossnewspapers.com as it's source.

The VP wouldn't and didn't attend any such party, it is absolute fake news and should be discredited wherever encountered.

They have started again. Awon set fake news blog Geng. The VP only wish him happy birthday by making a video..that's all. To think that it is wedding he would be attending at this critical time when Nigerians needs him the most is an irrational thinking.

They don't rest, always looking for ways to mislead people. A short video of the VP's birthday wish to Dele Momodu was uploaded on social media. Follow the VP on Instagram and Twitter in order to tell know authentic information concerning the VP and his activities.

The way some people in this Country twist news ehn. The VP wish Him a Happy Birthday via a recorded Video. My other worry is how some people find it difficult to understand the meaning of the word Virtual. Dele Momodu didn't organize a physical Birthday party but a virtual one where people joined around the world via the Internet.
