Let me indulge you a little, agent of confusion.

Before the coming of Yahushua the Messiah, the begotten Son of YHVH Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, was it ever stated anywhere that the people were free to commit sins on the other days of the week?
What sets the Sabbath apart from all the other days? undecided
19 You will work hard for your food, until your face is covered with sweat. You will work hard until the day you die, and then you will become dust again.
I used dust to make you, and when you die, you will become dust again.” - Genesis 3 vs 19

Even during the time of Moses, work to earn perishable food is done in submission to the judgment/curse put on man, since the time of Adam, by God. However, God set aside the Sabbath as a day in which the curse was "temporarily lifted" off the people - the day of Rest from the curse, created by God for His people, Israel. In their obedience of Him - obedience of Sabbath laws also meant not submitting to the curse, God was honored. undecided

The curse which God placed on man guaranteed that those who live in continued submission to it will perish in their graves- mind, body and soul returned to dust. However, through the Old Covenant Law of Moses, God gave, to the people of Israel, a break from from curse, a day for the people to honor Him without the shadow of the curse upon their obedience of Him.. undecided

Surely, God demanded continual obedience of His laws snd statutes from His people, Israel, but on the Sabbath day of each week, God demanded from them nothing less than holiness, this required respite from submission to the curse in addition to their obedience of God's other laws and statutes. undecided

So is is Sabbath day the holiest day of each week for the Jews/ Children of Israel? Yes , it is the one and only day where all of Israel cease to bow to the curse to honor God. undecided

Gen 2:2-3 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all his work of creating that he had done.

Exodus 20:11 For six days YHVH made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore YHVH blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Kobojunkiee, to the unstable and unwary, you have espoused a wonderful mystery. Ihe efu! Every saint, servant and messenger of Yahushua the Messiah knows that everything you said above is satanic.

Job 5:12 He thwarts the plans of the crafty,

Elated, please ive always had a question based on keeping sabbath holy.. In the case a person is sponsoring himself and decides to enrol for part time programme which is saturdays and sundays. Has the person sinned

The sabath day is the 7th day. It was sanctified when God rested from creaton. Keeping it holy entails resting from any creative activities. I don't know whether the above falls within that category...

Thanks.

You are right! I should have insisted outright that the Sabbath is the ONLY Holy day of the Old Covenant Law of Moses, the one day out of each week that the people totally honored God - away from the shadow of the curse. undecided

P.S. All that lives in submission to the curse are condemned by God to perish in the grave. undecided

Away, son of Satan !
Just like your father the devil, always working iniquity.
You can't doom the Sabbath day any more than Satan can.
As Elated says, you will always be caught in your own web.
The Lord rebuke you, KJ !

Under the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, we are redeemed from the curse and called to live above it. We are eben called to no longer work for food that perishes - Genesis 3 vs 17 - 19 - but instead work for food that sustains to eternal life which only Jesus Christ can give to us - John 6 vs 25 - 35, by doing so, every day is lived honoring God .I.e. everyday is kept Holy . undecided
