He was not referring to the black peaceful protesters. He was referring to those who have taken advantage of the protests to loot and burn business premises and cause wanton violence. None of these will bring the dead man back to life. Besides, how does going to smash up a shop (where you have black single mothers working to earn a keep for their kids) target the police who did this? Moreover, these acts of looting and destruction distract from the issue at hand, which is that the policemen need to be arrested and charged for murder.

The protests should be focused and peaceful. What we have here is not a protest.

The person who posted this tweet didn't see the video of mayhem in Minneapolis. Both white and black were still robbing stores as at 7am. I watched it live. So don't make it about the president referring to black people as thugs. If you rob, you going down. The man in question that they protesting is not know to be a violent man, why dishonor the dead man and use that as an avenue to rob? They just justified the police actions and made relevant.
