The installer I met said he can't do with satchet inverter rather he will build the inverter to be sure of what he is supplying.
He also said he prefers the Canadian used panel to new ones.
Is this ok?

yesloaded:

Go for brand new solar panel

Your battery bank is fine likewise charge controller

Go for better inverter, sachet not that reliable

Do you have any objections on his methods?

Mind you it's fairly used not Canadian used.
If he can build an inverter, it's good, I got a call yesterday on made in Nigeria inverters, if the are worth it or meet certain standard..

Well they do, it depends on the builder.

I feel foreign inverters should be highly taxed so that local content / manufacturers can thrive.

He cannot build a pure sine wave inverter.
Who are those condemning satchet Inverter?
There are several nice ones.

Pure sine wave can be built and they are been built in Nigeria.

By the way if you are trying to cut cost, you can get an old UPS and convert it to an inverter system.

Start reading from page 1 of this thread every information is there.

Our opinions and experiences differ..
If you noticed, I advised getting fairly used it you plan getting "Nigeria " new solar panel the reason Is their standards are not monitored.

Besides their is a solar panel assembly plant in lekki free trade zone.

You can buy one from them and compare.

But if you love New ones go for the high quality
Jinko, yingli, Ja solar, Canadian solar, and so many within that rank...

This is still my personal opinion
Thanks boss.

No crime using used panels if the price difference is very obvious.Brand new 425w jinko is around 135k, if a used 300w of any brand cost 30k it is fair. Fund is the culprit.
Thanks, i appreciate.

Yes.
As a matter of fact there is a pure sine wave inverter module that sells for as low as 5000
Read about egs002 module.

If you don't intend to program you can just purchase this module and develop your board...

Some satchet PSW inverter has this module in them

I have a Cyberpower 1000 UPS. I need someone around Berger who can help me confirm if it is in a good working state as I want to use it as an inverter with solar panels.

Anyone here who can?

Good evening sir, so sorry to bother you.
Please what solar setup would you recommend to power
10 led bulbs of 5. 10watts and 5. 15watts Although I would put on only 6 at most
1 32 inches tv
2 ceiling fans.

I want something that can last for atleast 6 hours from 8pm. During the day i can use only d tv if there’s sun.

Am assuming you have a total load of 300w,
To achieve 6hrs backup,. You will need 2 x 200ah battery
