By the time they retaliate and ban Nigerians from immigrating to UK and Canada that is when we will realize the ramifications of attempting to fight with nations that stick to their laws. Why try to force a country to accept an airline to land in the country, owned by a wanted fugitive, who stands to financially benefit from the evacuation?

There are many Nigerians looking to escape the failed state ruined by PDP,APC and APGA. And Canada and UK are one of the few countries left open to Nigerians, and now the Reps are looking to close that door shocked

You always try to soil Air Peace at all cost , fly you no dey fly with them then na wetin be your problem self.

The problem in this country is our poor education system.

People are not taught about Nigeria Airways and how the British and Abacha locked horns after several of our planes were seized in UK.

As soon as they destroyed it, they sent in their entrepreneur Richard Branson with his aeroplanes called Virgin Nigeria.

The same forces are perceiving Air Peace as a threat.

They want them out of the market.

That means all the jobs created for Nigeria will now go to them in UK and Canada.

UK, Canada, Autrialia and US are all the same gang and they work as one.

Nice one

We need to demand respect from all these countries that think they can do and undo with us

But I'm still wondering why FG wants to take over the case of the Chinese citizens caught in osun state

You can't be selective in demanding respect
mining is under federal government not states. Only the FG can determine if it was illegal mining shikena. As long as they have licenses from mining casdastre abuja or the company that hired them. Then no issues

The federal government should take over Air Peace or force the sale. We can't have a wanted fugitive in Canada and USA running an airline.

Their are many igbo's investors like Jay Jay Okocha,Kanu Nwankwo and Linda Ikeji that can come together to take over the airline

How can foreign airlines operates directly from Canada? Likes of Ethiopian and Qatar Airway can still fly to Canada via Addis and Doha.
FlappaNozzle:
This ban get as e be o. You ban airlines coming from canada and UK, how will Nigerians in those countries go back home.

What about other foreign airlines that operate those countries to Nigeria. Instead of banning the airline, why not invite the Canadian high commission or the UK high commission for a hearing on the matter. How is it an airline problem.

They creating further bottle neck for Airpeace, UK and Canada are top destinations for Nigerians. I really dont see the sense in this ban.

That was a big insult to Nigeria...you cant allow a nation carry its citizens directly, but would rather another African country carries its citizens for it at a higher cost...

Real see finish..

This is the problem with Nigeria and the mentality of the people.
We tend not to understand due process.
Our brains cannot understand due process.
Just because we do everything on whims in this our jungle, we forget that not all countries operate like that.

In order for any airline to fly and land in any country's airports, that airline has to be safety certified by that country's air safety authority.
It is really that simple. angry

Air Peace, which we all admire , has not been safety certified by Canadian air safety authority, because Air Peace had never flown to Canada .
Again very simple to understand.

Unlike what obtains in Nigeria, there was Noooo Way the Canadian air safety authorities would jettison their own safety protocols just to please Nigeria. No way

Sticking to standard safety rules and protocols ,especial as regards air travel, is something our jungle brains find difficult to comprehend.
And as expected , those bunch of mo.rons , the most expensive legislature in the whole world, want to pretend that they care about Nigeria by attacking the righteous acts of other nations.

What an upside down country.

I care about the thousands of workers working at Air Peace and want to see the airline succeed with different ownership. Whether you like it or not the owner till today, remains a wanted fugitive and has $14.2 million dollars seized in USA and Canada. Which businessman that worked hard for his money will walk away from that amount?

They certainly can never do that. You seem not to understand why they open their doors to Nigerians. Do you know how much billions they make every year just because of Nigerian students going to these countries? Take UK for example, go and find out how much an international student pays as tuition plus accommodation and feeding per year compared to their citizens in same class and department who do not even pay up to half that amount and still get loans to pay their fees that is far less than what an international student pays.

The day they will close their doors to Nigerians, you will see how much they will loose as a country. That is just for students, not to talk about those who go for business or holidays. You have no idea maybe because you are just looking at the aspect of illegal immigrants bypassing the legal means of immigration.
