Look let's be honest. Does Nigeria have a proper Airline that flies our national flag? No!

Others rubbish us because of our lack of seriousness. That is why they allowed Ethiopian Airlines with a good track record to do it.

Why has the rep not constantly worry the authorities to support a national carrier?

Is it the same Sirika that blew million dollars on audio Air Nigeria that the reps are praising? grin

If they ban UK and Canadian airlines from landing, which airlines will they be taking to get medical treatment abroad? grin

It hardly matters if the money goes to France, Germany or US Airlines. Still our loss as we have no decent airline of our own. Others airlines will just hike prices on 9ja routes. Simple.

And guess those that will suffer. All these politicians would just rent a private jet if they need an urgent medical treatment or check up. Another thing they could do is fly first class via emirate to Dubai, then connect to Europe or America from there. They won't mind the additional cost since it's a drop in the bucket for them.

The most surprising ban is the Canadian. Canada does not even fly commercial to Canada. Most people fly via Ethiopia, KLM or Lufthansa.

These are all business decisions and has nothing to do with Allen onyema . The airline’s fleet of Boeing 737 gets All it’s maintenance done in England without any landing permit issues . I’m not even sure airpeace applied for a permit to evacuate from London . Most of these countries are treating evacuation as commercial flights because tickets are sold as a result they’d rather Nigerians buy British airline’s ticket And deploy all sort of tactics to muscle out the Nigerian airlines. 60 years of independence and we still sick up to these western forces . Last year it was Allen onyema . This year it is Akinwumi adesina . I don’t believe everything I read or hear from the west

We must understand that these countries have standards and protocols. Did the Nigerian government or Air Peace meet those requirements? If no then we are just ranting away. They will Never bend their laws for anybody. Let's make our own rules and standards and abide by it come rain or shine, then we can start from there. To me the ban is quite laughable cos na we go still loose pass when dem begin diverts flights to Accra and Younde as was the case when the landing equipments failed at MMIA.
Let us begin to respect ourselves, then the world will respect us
