well you are right a bit... Abacha fought a whole sultan of sokoto (most revered in north) to stand a still, and fought Abiola his friend to the very end, it was because of Abacha that babangida wasn't killed in dodan barrack, coming in from Odogbo cantonment in Ibadan to save him
