One of these groups was the Philistines, apparently where Palestine gets its name from. In the 7th century BCE Kmt was invaded twice by the Assyrians. In the 6th century BCE was invaded and occupied by the Persians for 125 years. All of this is before the Greek and Roman domination of Kmt.
Oh, BTW, this is a statue of Senusret I from early Dynasty 12, about 1850 BCE. This is before any of the known foreign invasions of Kmt.
