Ize Iyamu + Oshoquake + Federal might = clean sweep.

Ize Iyamu is the most popular Bini politician alive, captain Hosa is next. Not even 100 Obaseki can stand hurricane Ize Iyamu.

This act alone was what gave Obiano advantage, the reason he won in all the 21 LGs and defeated even his Godfather and PDP (Obi) hands down. Oshomole would go down in a history and one of the Godfathers that was disgraced and sent to political oblivion by his benefactor. September shall be an interesting month anyways cheesy

The Head of Service was accosted yesterday by staff of Edo state college of education over 11months unpaid salary. Local governments in the state are owed some over 10months. The fact that union leaders have been muzzled does not mean all is well.

The political tango in Edo State is not as you guys assume.


Gov Obaseki didn't manage the situation very well. A little bit of humility and tact could have prevented his troubles.



Even decamping to the PDP may not solve the problems.
There are many politicians who have kept faith with the PDP through thin and thick for years, investing their resources and energy with the hope of clinching the party's ticket and the genuine belief that they would defeat Obaseki of the APC.

Few days to the Primaries, Obaseki now decamp to the PDP and you feel dashing him the Governorship ticket will not generate crisis within the PDP?

The APC will just capitalize on this, buy over the present frontline aspirants in the PDP by promising them Federal appointments (who will leave certainties of the FG appointments for the uncertainties of Obaseki's meagre compensation?) and they will either serve as internal moles in the PDP or rightly decamp to the APC, leaving Obaseki in the cold.
