Same way ordinary Nigerians are begging Chad not to give up on their fight against Bolo Haram. Please Chad help Nigeria Army, don't watch us being distributed by Bolo Haram because on internal crisis crippling our Armed Forces.

But we have thermal plants in Nigeria and I think larger bulk of our electricity comes from it and not from hydro

Most of these countries we supply are like states in Nigeria. So supplying Chad is just like supplying another state in Nigeria. Nigeria is a big country and her neighbouring countries are more like states. Then it's our national grid and Discos that have issues. So to supply other countries what we generate is not a problem.

Imagine Togo, Niger and Benin owed Nigeria 32 billion Naira (just in 2019) electricity dues. Now we are about to supply Chad with free electricity while our own people sleep and wake up in constant darkness.
