Nigeria. *I shake my head* We don't have a common destiny. This is going to get worse. The earlier we go our different ways, the better for all of us, North, West, East. Nigeria is a failed state. |

Aloy, ileke-idi and other please be sensible for once, this is a serious issue. Please note carefuly that Tafawa-balewa is a mostly Christian town that is in Bauchi state and not in Plateau state. The crisis there, most likely, have nothing to do wt what is happening in Plateau. Even though Ibos are everywhere, i doubt if they are much affected in T/B, as the town is mostly populated by the locals. The author of this report tried inginiously and erroneously, to link the T/B crisis with Jos! |

TRIBALISTIC SHYT ASIDE, IM GETTING TIRED OFF ALL THESE VIOLENCE (AND GEJ AINT DOING SHYT ABT IT ALL). IT SEEMS THESE DAYS THAT EVEN A BOWL OF EBA CAN SPARK OFF VIOLENCE AND CONFLICT ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA, AND AT THE END IT TENDS TO BOIL DOWN TO TRIBAL CONFLICT; IRRESPECTIVE OF THE INITIAL CAUSE OF DISAGREEMENT. MOST OFTEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN ARE THE VICTIMS. PLEASE ABEG, TRIBALISM ASID, WHEN ARE WE GOING TO START SEEING EACH-OTHER AS KIN? I TIRE O!! |

Another product of religious intolerance in Nigeria. I have always believed that religion have brought more bad than good to man from the very beginning of his existence. History on religious destruction and persecution is there for us to read and start thinking of how to change our reasoning. I dont know why 2 adults will transfer their anger into religious haterd and they all claim to worship god. |

aloy/emeka: This question shouldn't arise. Why? Any killing ascribed to religion is never one but a total ignorant. Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa etc whatever the proclaimed faith shouldn't be killing one another in the name of religion. All the "religious" killing that ever happened in this country are political, coated with ignorant. A MAN THAT UNJUSTLY KILL ANOTHER MAN IN ISLAM SHOULD BE COMMITTED TO DEATH IN ISLAM. That is the rule. The "ANOTHER MAN" could be a Muslim, Christian, Igbo, Yoruba etc UNJUSTLY YES, because an arm robber that put a gun on my head but over-smarted by me and get killed would not be said to be UNJUSTLY killed e.t.c. You too know all these examples. POLITICS, POLITICS, POLITICS,, Let the way people play politics in this country change and you will see an end to this barbaric act. Without this, I am sorry o o. |

if i burn your billard table and your only option of retalliation is to go about burning mosques and killing people--then you have only shown the hidden terrorist that you really are, Christians starts all these Reliogious crisis outbreaks i still wander the kind of things they read in their human authored book, the so called holly bible. AS a muslim you must not take the laws into ur hands, why must religion be a threat to Nigerians unity , its a shame |

Why are they avoiding to call the name of the state where the incident happened. Tafawa Balewa is in Bauchi State but they tactically avoided mentioning Bauchi. Bauchi State is in North East, but they said the event happened in the Central Nigeria. The above might not seem necessary but the reporter may have a sinister motive behind not giving the accurate report as to the location of the incident. |

Religion and tribe are interlinked in Nigeria and cannot be seperated. The North is predominantly muslim, the East is predominantly christian and the West and Middle Belt is a mix. So if an Igbo man is killed by an Hausa man and vice versa, it could easily lead to a religious crises. |
