The issue is to hunt them in a sustainable manner. The white men are the ones who have hunted animals to extinction. Not us.

Dolphins have been known to kill sharks, they are not as docile as your story books paints them. FYI the Killer Whale which is sometimes referred to a "wolves of the sea" is not a whale, it's just a very large dolphin.

Dolphins like most Mammals, are very intelligent and trainable. They are also curious and tend to have an affinity for people. But don't let that fool you, they can be vicious killers especially when they feel threatened.
