Is he really a typical Nigerian man?
Resigning from the Main Kitchen where the pot of soup is , cos of family?
We will get to know the truth much later.
Something is telling me , it's m than the excuse he gave.

He was GGM.NAPIMS the main arm of NNPC supervising the joint venture with IOC, the real source of money in the corporation before he was transferred to less lucrative arm.

If you are not highly occultic and spiritual, you cannot occupy any good position in NNPC, Government Ministries, Parastatals, MDAs, etc, you will sleep and not wake up. Nigeria is so fvcked up, it needs total rebuilding from scratch!! angry

Saudi ARAMCO is run as a private company. NNPC is wholly government owned.

Also, the Saudi earnings from oil are enough to keep Saudi ARAMCO profitable. Saudi Arabia produces over 10 million barrels of crude per day. They also have 11million people. Also, cost of bringing out the oil there is less than Nigeria.

Nigeria produces 2.3 million barrels of crude for 200 million people. The money earned is not enough (before looting comes in). We also spend trillions on subsides, and as stated, NNPC is government run.

But but Rosneft and Gazprom are also fully government owned. They also subsidize fuel for thier citizens.

Saudi aramco pays big like chevron and co to it's over 80k employees. They also subsidize fuel

Rosneft whole state owned over 100k employees, pays like private oil company, subsidize fuel. Still make profit

NNPC, whole state owned excluding management staffs, the pay is quatre or less that of private oil companies. less than 15k employees. Consecutive looses yearly. over 1.6 trillion last 5 years

Consider that Saudi Arabia earns up to ten times more than we do from oil and have 11 million people compared to our 200 million, and thus they have the cash.

Consider that Russia has a large industrial sector, which earns a lot of cash and is a mega exporter of gas, which we aren't and also produces far more oil than we do.So they can afford to fund subsides as well.

Nigeria is not an industrial country, we have a large number of people , and we flare all the gas. We cannot afford the things Russia and Saudi Arabia can

And we have corruption and inefficiency. Ironically, Russia too has a severe corruption problem.

He is just one individual, he is not "the Urhobos". This man's very close friends may be people from other parts of the country, those are the people that may benefit from whatever he has to offer apart from his immediate family.

He joined NNPC a made man and for him it was service . He tried to resign during his days at napims but Maikanti Baru encouraged him to stay. He has seen it all. Heading NApIms was the peak for him. Time to move on .

Not everyone is hungry to steal public funds . There are many Like Rowland who have done well In and outside Government

When you get married, and have children, you will understand why he made that decision.

There are many men and women who chased and achieved high position and power in this country and beyond, and enjoyed. They also, in the process, lost their children.
Word, bro, word! People always think in terms of money and material comforts. Many people have lost their family on the altar of career. I know some like that. Money is not everything! What's the essence of earning or accumulating so much when you become enemies to those who matter to you, just because you never had time for them?

Now, you're mixing it up. Definitely, we will have staff members of DPR and NNPC receiving millions every month(senior staff by the way), but no cleaner receive such.

I didn't mention NLNG cos it's not wholly govt owned- it's run like a private firm. FG is only a shareholder in it.

NLNG provides dividends to the govt. it is 55% or so owned by the NNPC.
what makes you think cleaners are not driving big SUVs at NNPC?
why should any staff make millions when others can not find employment or even get 30K as salary a month

what makes NNPC staff special?

lol ..that's the way the industry runs. You shouldn't expect managers in NNPC, DPR collect less, when their counterpart in IOC are much more paid. Else, they won't retain competent hands, and can easily be compromised, if they even stayed behind.

I'm surprised you blv cleaner earns millions. grin
Re: Roland Ewubare Resigns As NNPC Chief Operating Officer by frog12: 2:52am On Jul 04, 2020
hey, a cleaner at Nigerian law school was given 35 million.
they work for govt. we can always find replacements for those millionaire staff at NNPC. they are willing Nigerians ready to make less in the same position. They are free to go and join private IOCs. this logic of them being compromised if their compensation is less is just fallacious. There's no proof.
