Saudi ARAMCO is run as a private company. NNPC is wholly government owned.

Also, the Saudi earnings from oil are enough to keep Saudi ARAMCO profitable. Saudi Arabia produces over 10 million barrels of crude per day. They also have 11million people. Also, cost of bringing out the oil there is less than Nigeria.

Nigeria produces 2.3 million barrels of crude for 200 million people. The money earned is not enough (before looting comes in). We also spend trillions on subsides, and as stated, NNPC is government run.

Now, you're mixing it up. Definitely, we will have staff members of DPR and NNPC receiving millions every month(senior staff by the way), but no cleaner receive such.

I didn't mention NLNG cos it's not wholly govt owned- it's run like a private firm. FG is only a shareholder in it.

why should any staff make millions when others can not find employment or even get 30K as salary a month

lol ..that's the way the industry runs. You shouldn't expect managers in NNPC, DPR collect less, when their counterpart in IOC are much more paid. Else, they won't retain competent hands, and can easily be compromised, if they even stayed behind.
