Re: Roland Ewubare Resigns As NNPC Chief Operating Officer by Nobody: 6:39am On Jul 04, 2020 |
lexy2014: The man himself said he is resigning to go back to his family. If you like, don't believe him. When you have your own children, you will understand why he took the decision he took. One veteran journalist once turned down a lucrative job with ThIS Day because it would have entailed him leaving his family at a time when his children were getting to 'that age' as he put it (teenage age, in other words). So, ask him how he would get to the US, since it's your interest. It's not mine, I'm only commenting on the reasons he gave for leaving the job. Not everything in life is money, money. |

yinkus6750:It happens. He has probably lived longer in USA than in. Nigeria. Foreign raised kissed do not value money above all else. His wife may not even be a typical African woman. NOI also resigned as foreign minister. |

kikero: Who asked u if whether life is about money? Since u are commenting on d reason he gave, I am questioning d comment u made on d reason he gave. If u have a family in d US& u are in Nigeria, how will u travel to be with them from Nigeria in this Corona period? |

fergie006: Maybe, maybe he really wants to be with his family or he doesn't want to eat rotten eggs as common in Nigeria. There are many people out there that can never accept to serve in Nigeria govt as being run these days. The system is too corrupt for their liking. 1 Like |

I can't blame him from resigning, imagine working for the idiot like Mele Kyari that can't explain why the oil refineries are not working after 20 years. Mele Kyari, the group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), says the country is working on building a condensate refinery towards the goal of self-sufficiency in refined petroleum products. |
