APCdestroyer:

You're not Yoruba, how will u now understand Oba?

"Ogiso" means king in Igodomigodo kingdom.

Benin kingdom was later founded by prince Oranmiyan.

Oba means king in Yoruba long before Oduduwa.

Olu of warri

Olu Ibadan

Deji of A kure

Ooni of Ife

Olukare

Olowo of owo

Eleko of eko

ETC

These are titles for their designation

they're all Obas

Oba is from Yoruba, your kingdom was conquered by Ife prince andwarrior bros

My brother if you believe in the mythical story and existence of “Oduduwa & Oranmiyan” then I’m wondering how you claim to be a Muslim or a Christian and at the same time believe Oduduwa, Oranmiyan Larmurdu and the likes where deities responsible for creating the earth?

Well my brother if you decide to play politics with God/Allah using Oduduwa, his siblings, sons, daughter and father where we all know their stories where based on myth in other to proof the Yoruba history right then I want to sound thisbto your hearing that no man born of any woman can cheat the God of nature

Don't even stress yourself over this argument.

Yorubas and Igbos can never and will never unite over anything.

There's no basis for such unity.

We, Yorubas should learn from history.

The first time we tried it, chief Obafemi Awolowo put his pride aside and tried to bury the hatchet.

He went to Azikiwe to form a coalition government with him. That was the only way the South of Nigeria could wrest power away from the North.

Meeting date was fixed and Awolowo went with his delegation to meet Nnamdi an Igbo man to tell him that he, Awolowo wouldn't mind ceding the Prime Ministerial position to him while he himself took the lesser governor general.

They waited and waited until they heard in the news that Azikiwe they were waiting for was already in the North offering Balewa the Prime Ministerial position while he took the lesser post.

We know how Ojuwku was trying to march his army through Yorubaland.

No. We will never come together for anything.

And I pray that Nigeria splits soon so we can all go out different ways.

Enough is enough.
Stop lying
Mbazulike Amaechi said the true story
Awo, in typical Yoruba fashion, sent two delegations at once. One to Zik and the other to Bello.
While Zik and his people were negotiating with ones sent to them, the phone rang and when Zik picked it up it was Bello on the line. Bello simply told him to accept his own offer or else he will form government with Awo whose representatives were with him at Kaduna! Zik was shocked to his marrows. He simply told Bello to give him some time for him to dialogue with his team.
After dropping the receiver, Zik told his people in Igbo language that the snake they were dealing with had two heads!
He promptly dismissed the Awo gang and told his people the conversation with Bello. It was there they all agreed that Awo wasn't trustworthy enough to do business with.
He made the call to Bello and the rest, they say, is history.
Be truthful.
