jornwhite: Staying long doesn’t mean he is smart. It is not rare and weird for scammers to have the spotlight for long. Unlike your SARS that rushes to arrest every small fish without enough evidence, FBI would take their time to gather everything. That way you won’t have any escape route. How many cases have your SARS/EFCC convicted? See his definition of smart. Toor! 6 Likes |

inoki247: What are you talking about? He will willingly release the Bitcoins wallet address and password. All what they need are on their phones disk and computer hard drives. Be enlightened. This is FBI not Efcc. They will drill them. The only things saved about them is whatever ppty they might have in Ng. If they had operated the ppty like they knew they would be arrested , then they might have safe Havens in that aspect. Because Ng Govt will shield them a lil till there is a lateral agreement btw usa n Nigeria to release them. The loot was monumental they wont be handled with kids gloves. They are half finished. Plea bargain is all they need right now for the USA not to turn them to nothing. 3 Likes |

badguy512: The (average) Nigerian definition of smart has always been questionable. Always claiming to be smart on illegal things. Reminds me of a thread on NL asking why Nigerians claim to be smart, yet the nation is backward. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

heendrix: You can't get Blockchain to block people's account. If you are talking about Blockchain.com, then, that's not Blockchain. You can always recover your Bitcoin in another wallet. Blockchain.com is a disposable manager. PS: I am a Blockchain dev and the author of https://multisend.co, an ethereum dapp that allows users to distribute their ethereum and ethereum tokens to many addresses in a single transaction. 1 Like |

seXytOhbAd:leave them. It’s one thing to be a criminal (cyber or whatever) and it’s another thing to be trained to withstand the terror of torture. Does Hushpuppi look like someone that can withstand torture by trained specialists were he to be subjected to one? Also torture isn’t just about beating like we do here in Naija. Torture comes in different forms. 3 Likes |

Urchman200: My brother, God will bless you heavily for this! The hypocrisy of some people on this forum is so thick you could cut it with a knife! I could still remember vividly how some Nairalanders from a particular tribe reacted to the Invictus Obi's news when it broke out. Almost all the attacks were directed at his tribe, not his person. Now Woodberry and Hushpuppi's case is trending but these same shameless hypocrites don't think it's appropriate to make any reference to the tribe these two thieves come from, simply because they are their brothers. Ndi ara. Like you rightfully stated, we know who the tribalists are, where they reside and their style. 3 Likes |

2cribz: I watch IDx and most criminals who have their phone locked and can’t be opened don’t get tourtured . If you phone is locked and you don’t agree to open it the best they can do is get a court warrant and they instruct the phone company to get it unlocked . But if he instant ge won’t unlock it, they can only come in terms/ agreement with him . But if he insist he won’t nothing can be done . It’s either they arrange him to court and with the little evidence they hve they use that against him . This isn’t Nigerian police where they touture you to get information .. 2 Likes |

If the money is dirty, wash it before you touch it. Don't connect your dirty money to your real digital identity. Always remember that every company (especially Google and Apple), even Bitcoin companies, will snitch on you once they see court warrant. Therefore, make sure they don't know YOU. Bitcoin is anonymous but it can be traced once they have the Bitcoin address you used to receive the Bitcoin. Everything about every Bitcoin transaction is public domain. Therefore tumble and mix your Bitcoin before spending it. Even after mixing it, DO NOT use YOUR real digital identity when spending it. DO NOT use the same Bitcoin address to receive Bitcoin more than once. DO NOT use Bitcoin wallet companies (BitPay, Coinbase, Blockchain, etc) instead store your Bitcoin offline using a hardware storage (it looks like USB flash drive). Some people think this advice is just for the "bad guys". It's for everyone. Once these guys start tracing, every descendant of that dirty Bitcoin address (the address that dirty money was sent to) is automatically a suspect. That means that the guys buying and selling Bitcoin are going to end up as suspects because their Bitcoin addresses appeared as some of the descendants of a dirty Bitcoin address. It's an investigation technique known as raiding. Treat all crypocurrency fund as dirty money. Do not connect your real digital identity to your cryptocurrency address. No one needs to tell you to hide your IP address using Tor network. VPN company will snitch too |
