the importance attached to this valentine day is becoming something else i am not against the exchange of gifts with your loved ones ,When i was in the university i could remember vividly on valentines a lecturer was angry cause students did not turn up for a lecture at 8 am class imagine a class of about 80 students with only 30 people in attendance the lecturer was fuming and i was like why is he angry the lecture area of campus was scanty making it look like a public holiday later on that day school became over lively everywhere full now that i am out of school i am beginning to reason differently cause on valentines day there is traffic jam everywhere all the eateries are full even infants perperate all forms of immoralities on this day i think we need a rethink on how to actually celebrate this day and actually make kids and people understand the real meaning of valentine not just a day to perform all manner of arocities and make life more difficult for motorist
