Go To School But Get a Skill -- Ossai tells Delta Youths on 2020 International Youth Skills Day.

The Special Assitant to Delta State Governor on Sepcial Duties (Media), Mr Ossai Ovie Success has urged Youth's in Delta State to embrace Education and Skill Acquisition.

Mr Ossai made this known in asaba as the world celebrate The 2020 International Youth Skills Day.

According to Ossai , Skill Acquisition enable individuals to be self reliant, and well productive.

"Nigeria as a country needs individuals with skill to be productive

Skill Acquisition is something we must embrace as a people to reduce the rate of unemployment.

It is paramount for every youths to acquire a skill for the purpose of being useful to the society .
When a child is empowered with skills, it assists him or her all through his or her journeys in life."

“I am a lover of Education with skill acquisition, We must teach our youth's the need to acquire skill because Education with skill lead to productivity .

When you support skills with the knowledge you acquired from school, it distinguishes you from the crowd.

Skill Acquisition enable individuals to be self reliant, and well productive."

Speaking further , Ossai commended the Delta State Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa for reducing the rate of unemployment in Delta State with the State Job Creation Scheme and the rebranding of Technical Education.

"In order to address the unemployment challenges largely caused by lack of skills, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa created the Delta State Job Creation Office that has help the state government in creating numerous jobs for Deltans

"Its on the basis of the above and in a bid to curb Social Menace which is usually the fall-out of a crowded unemployed society, that myself and the Special Assitant on Studetns Affairs Comr Okoh Ezekiel Tega decided to take the Okowa's SMART Agenda of Job Creation to the Students. Tagged: EVEN A PROFESSOR NEEDS A SKILL. To sensitise the students on the need to get a skill despite their field of study or area of specialisation/interest," he said.
