You’re welcome to the UK, land of crazy possibilities for programmers. First of I’ll advice you X the masters. If you insist on doing the masters now, you will put a lot of pressure on hubby to pay tuition fees (at intl student rate). Also, trust me, you don’t need that masters in the UK, at least not now. You will be shocked at how 90% of your managers just have A levels (no first degree). You can get a job here even without a first degree as far as you’re skilled.

Secondly, you’re a programmer, you are hot cake. Look up different sites when you get here and apply. While applying, look up other languages you can learn to improve your employability. If programming takes too long, there are lotsa other jobs out there that you can do “humble beginnings” with, then after 6 months, you would gain the confidence you need.

Finally, whatever job you apply for, target the lower level, it’s a trick to getting into the company first (because when compared with lower level applicants, you May be the best). When you get in and work 6 months, if they don’t promote you, you can leave and find a better paying job. This shouldn’t stop you from accepting a high level job if offered.

Mamas, I m here again oo. Want to start trying for number 2. My adorable is 18months now. Pray that God bless our hustle latest by September with a bouncing baby girl in Jesus name.

However, I had a very high risk with my first pregnancy. Everything was OK till 17 weeks when high blood pressure set in till the day i delivered and gestational diabetes discovered at 31 weeks also. So, i had to schedule a CS at 37 weeks and everything went well to the glory of God. Both hypertension and diabetes disappeared after delivery and i ve been monitoring myself. Everything is perfect.

My question now is, i don't want to use my previous hospital. Kindly recommend a good hospital / gynecologist who can manage me well in pregnancy till delivery. Don't want to have any complication in this pregnancy again. Its tiring. I m in Lagos.

Kindly help a sister. Will want to visit the doctor before i take in if possible. So, we discuss my peculiarities and start managing from day 1 if possible

Except you are a doctor from Government universities( not sure about private ones because many of them are not listed on WHO list of accredited medical schools).If you're a doctor, jusy write your exams and you're good to go.There are jobs and they will sponsor you as a tier 2 migrant(with your family). Don't mind me, I have common interests in both Medicine and Web design.......that's why I said so!

Anyways I think both of you stand a chance, The both of you should evaluate your degrees, write ielts and be ready to make separate profiles and both state your married. It might just be you who will get a quick chance by way of Provincial Nomination. I have found web developers (foreigners) who migrate via PR but was on the canadavisa forum.

Note: as a web developer, you need to be ready to show proof of employment as regards 3years experience. I know it is very likely you are working freelance (on your own), for that I don't know how you will show proof, maybe other members here will help suggest.

For Doctor, the method of degree evaluation is not WES, its by the Medical council of Canada and it requires some time and money, so the sooner he starts it, the better.
check this nairalander's page (@vcole), you will see a page where she explained the steps, amount involved and process from beginning to end.
Lastly. you should provide your ages and your level of education (BSc or masters) so we can project the most likely principal applicant but generally I think your field is sought in Canada so making two profiles for you and husband wont be a bad idea.

Good evening efrebori. If I don't come online nobori wee ask of me. Anyway, how's the baby bump watch going to all preggos and to the vigilante mama, una well done. I don't know where the superstition comes from but today I broke the don't-do as I got to see my full n@k!d body in a full mirror today since I carry belle. Mehn, skin darkening no get part two o. My face and stomach na coke and fanta and I don add weight. Don't mind my meme, i'm a first timer. I'll be 32weeks this tuesday and waiting for all to come to an end with praise.

Teamie this confusion of pregnacare and prescribed anc drugs is sometimes tiring. But please don't take both.
One mama recommended i resume taking the pregnacare at 4months. I stopped at 2months due to the reaction to my ms.
So you can choose to take any of them, either the pregnacare or the ANC drugs.

How did your first anc class go? Me i have funny stories to share o. Like how i went there i sat down without taking number. People just dey enter dey take number, and i just balance with my googles.
