Democracies like the US, the UK even Canada are the result of people working over time to make their country's democratic process a better place.They did not improve via revolution automatically.(One quote I like from the late Martin Luther King jr...was when in his last speech he made the comment 'I may not get there with you' That comment was prophetic...he was killed the next day...and also instructive.
