Was the fight about Ojukwu's character or about liberating Biafrans from the deadly clutch of death which Nigeria represents for his people at the time.
Why can't you just focus all your attention in making sure you actualise your Biafra instead of hating others who refused to join your Biafra? Leave SS out of your Biafra and still show love while you fight for your beloved Biafra. The SS is big enough to be it's own country, and we will see to that when the time comes. If you invest the energy you use in tagging everyone that is not interested in being part of your whatever name you wish and instead show love to your neighbors while you keep up the struggle, your Biafra will be realised sooner than you expected.

His character is also a contributor to the reasons he failed. It's Africans that think that someone's character and leadership ability, must be separated and, that is why the society is backward. In developed world, your character is seriously scrutinized once you are a leader or show interest in leadership.

The situation would have been worst if Biafra had succeeded under Ojukwu with the arrogance and greedy nature of the Igbos.

I was not born before the war but I followed him closely, listened to his utterances and watched his conducts
Ojukwu would have been one of the worst dictators on earth and would have killed countless number of people with different views and opinions. He was very arrogant and selfish.
I have met some people from Nnewi who are happy that Biafra failed because, even when he came back and before the Bianca issue, he busied himself sleeping about with married women and breaking homes.
Ojukwu was very close to Abacha which made Abacha release his family properties seized by the federal government to him. A selfless leader would have told Abacha that unless he releaesed the properties of other Igbos that were also seized and compensate the Biafran soldiers, he would not accept. Ojukwu did not mind but was even sidelining his own siblings. Faced with two evils, Ken Saro-Wiwa made the better choice. May his soul rest in Peace.

My friend shut up please.Which region siezed the properties of Igbos? Wasn't it d present day rivers ogoni people? Did they sieze Igbo properties in d north of West? Shameless people.U call Ojukwu wicked but ur region displayed greed by stealing properties of ndiigbo.Shameless region

Your parents used their control of government to steal and grab the lands of the indigenes which they pretended were for government projects but were allocating same land to only Igbos and also funded their development with government money. Your parents were brazen thieves go tell them to just tell you the truth.

Better choice, still he got executed by it.
Better choice, still the petrodollars from the ogoni land is being used to build infrastructure in the north, rail way tracks to Niger republic while ogoni land remain in abject poverty and in ruins.
Better choice, still the ogoni oil spillage clean up has become a mere electioneering rhetoric

Better choice indeed

The way you people behave online sometimes make you'll sound bittered. Everyone is now your enemy. can't South South be a country on their own? Your Biafra will easily be achieve iff you concentrate on making it a reality instead of hating on others. We don't have to be enemies for us to go our separate ways.
oga a lot of lies have been told over time, reasons why the igbos are in constant enemity with their neighbours, any attempt to dispute some of this lies should not be seen as hatred, if you don't clarify to an average niger delta man that the igbos are not his problem the hatred will continue, as an igboman i know the igbos did some wrongs to the people of Niger delta, but as much the enemies want us to believe. The niger delta people also did some wrongs to the igboman, until we all accept this for true reconciliation.

The stale hatred for Igbo pantomime as usual

Igbos are the only people in the world that give out hatred, insults and disrespect but expect to get love, praises and respect in return.

What you give is what you get.
