“there is never a time when taxation is convenient for everybody to pay” and enjoined Nigerians to embrace tax payment “as a patriotic duty to our dear country, Nigeria.” .......and what is the country doing for those patriotism displays by her dear citizens. Paying tax is not a problem, the issue with this country is corruption. You can't expect me to pay my taxes when I'm very sure a greedy fellow somewhere will surely steal it for himself. In other nations, all those great infrastructural development you marvel at on TVs are done with tax payer's money, the citizens happily pay their taxes because they know the money will be used for the benefit of all. But in nigeria all our government officials are engaged in stealing competition. They don't steal public funds because they need it, no, they steal it because they are thieves who can never stop stealing. 2 Likes |

Go pay stamp duty first before you sign agreement? This one don mental. 1. No landlord or landlady will give you agreement to sign before paying (do they give agreement for face-me I face-you so? 2. You go to FIRS to pay stamp duty, their staff will first turn you left, right and center 3.
